Chapter 10


Derek was looking went looking for Meredith. It seemed like forever now. He had to talk to her, he had to fix things after all he's the one that ruined their marriage. After 3 hours of searching, derek finally found meredith.

Derek: Meredith we need to talk. ( pulls her in the conference room which was empty)
Meredith: there's nothing to talk about! You are obviously not satisfied with me but you are with ur ex-wife so I don't want to be in your guys way..
Derek: Mer, I told you we didn't do anything I promise! She was just telling me thr I can't lose you... And I don't wanna lose you
Meredith: well maybe if you stop hooking up with other women then you won't lose me! (Walks out the door)

Meredith went to the pit to find something she could work on.

Heather: Dr. Grey!! We need you in here!
Meredith: what do we got?!
Heather: patient has severe bleeding coming from his stomach, complains of pain in his stomach, and throws up anything he eats. He was in a car crash with several other people.
Meredith: ok take him up to get a scans and come back to me when you have those (leaves the room)

Derek is still not done taking to Meredith. He definetly does not want to lose her, afterall she's the love of his life...... Well... Was

*flashback*


Addison and Derek are in the on call room and Addison kisses Derek.

Addison: kiss me back
Derek: you know I'm married so why would I do that?
Addison: because you and I both know we miss eachother.

He couldn't deny it. He did miss Addison but didnt love her. He knew that she wouldn't tell anyone so he kisses her back.

Derek: this is just between you and I...
Addison: okay

It was more then just a kiss. They were in the on call room for more than an hour

*end of flashback*

The work day was ending for Meredith and Derek. Derek new that Meredith was getting off work so he waited for her in the attendings lounge. After a half an hour, she finally came in.

Derek: Meredith please just listen.
Meredith: you have 10 minutes
Derek: me and Addison are nothing. I promise!! Please forgive me.. I'm sorry I've been being a jerk lately but I'm really sorry. I promise you I will never cheat on you. I love you too much to ever do that and I wouldn't want to ruin our family. Please please forgive me.....

As derek was finishing his sentence the door to the attending lounge opened........
