Chapter 11:

Addison: IM PREGNANT

Derek and Meredith just say there shocked. They were speechless. How could Derek do such a thing, cheat on his wife!

Derek: wha wha what?! I don't believe you! I want a test!
Addison: just give it up. Who else do you think I'm having an affair with?! Your the baby's father!
Derek: I want a test to confirm the baby's father. I don't believe you, we didn't do anything.
Addison: fine, ill make an appointment for 9AM to confirm the baby's father but don't be so shocked when the test results come back showing that it's yours.

Addison left the room so now it's just Meredith and Derek in the room. They stood there for a couple minutes without a word being said. Meredith wanted to leave the room so bad but Derek was blocking her from leaving.

Meredith: well? You got everything you wanted. Have fun taking care of your new kid when you can't even take care of the ones you have now!
Derek: Meredith, believe me. I'm not the baby's father. Addison is just doing this to win me back, which she won't. We will get the test, the test will come back showing us I'm not the baby's father and you and I could go back to normal.
Meredith: You and I (points to Derek and her) it's over! We don't exist anymore! I'm done competing with her. I'm done with all your lies, your crap. I can't do this anymore. I need to focus on my life and the kids life while you focus on your new kids life. I'm done cleaning up your messes, I'm done covering for you, and I'm done with this relationship.

Derek was shocked. Meredith moved towards the door, pushed him out of the way and left. His life was ruined. All he wants is Meredith. Why doesn't anyone believe him, the baby isn't his. He just stood in the room for hours and hours thinking of how he's going to get his life back

* doctors appointment the next day*

Doctor: hello Dr. Montgomery Shepherd. How are we doing this morning?
Addison: oh please, call me Addison. I'm doing fine this morning thank you very much. I just wanted to confirm the baby's father.
Doctor: ok, is your husband here? We need him for the test.
Addison: oh, he's not my husband. He's in the waiting room.
Doctor: oh I'm sorry, ill be right back I'm just going to go get him

The doctor comes back and is explaining the test to Addison and Derek. The test results won't be back for a couple of hours.
In the meantime all Meredith is thinking about is the results of the test. She didn't mean what she said about her and Derek yesterday she was just frustrated with the whole situation. She wanted Derek back and she's not done competing with Addison. She's just tired of all his lies. Meredith needed Derek in her life. Believe it or not, he was a good father. The kids loved him. He would take them to the park and over their friends house. He would do anything to make them happy. All Meredith wanted to do was have her family back.

*hours later*

Derek and Addison both were paged back to the doctor. Once they both got there, they were waiting in the waiting room.

Addison: Derek, please tell me that if the baby is yours, which it will be, you will treat it as you would to any other kid. You will love it like you love Zola and Bailey. This kid needs a father and I can't do it alo-

The doctor comes in

Doctor: hello Addison and Derek, I have the test results.

The doctor hands the envelope to Addison. Addison immediately opens the envelope.

Addison: congrats Derek, your not the baby's father.

Derek: (happy and shocked) Who is??
