Chapter 9:

*2 weeks later*

Meredith and Derek were doing great. They had finally fixed their marriage. Meredith just started working in the hospital again because she could not stand staying at home with no work to do other than taking care of the kids.
They had just arrived at the hospital. Meredith dropped of the kids at daycare and Derek went to go prep his patient for surgery. On the way to the attendings lounge Meredith runs into Cristina.
Cris: so how are you feeling? Your back so soon.
Mer: yeah, I just had to get back to the hospital but I have an appointment later today so I should know then how I'm doing. How are you and Owen?
Cris: he is still seeing Emma. I confessed to him that I love him but it didn't seem to change things. He just walked away.
Mer: I'm sorry Cristina. I hope things get better between you two. If you need anything or if you ever feel lonely, just come over, don't forget you have your own room!!!
Cris: how could I forget that? I mean that's the best thing about the house! (walks away)

Meredith went to the ER to see if there was any surgeries she could do. In the mean time, Derek had just finished his surgery and had run into Addison. Addison grabbed Derek's arm and pulled him into the supply closet.
Derek: No! Addison what do you think your doing?
Addison: calm down. Im not going to do anything. I just wanted to say sorry for kissing you. I should have known better. I guess I'm just jealous of you being happy with Meredith. Whenever I see you two together, all I think of his how that could have been me instead of Meredith but I just had to screw it up. You and Meredith are such a good couple.

In the mean time the door opens and there is Meredith.

Mer: can you please just stay away from him?! No you know what?! This time you can have him!
Derek: it's not what you think!
Mer: that's what you said last time. What make you think I should believe you this time? (She walks out of the room)

*3 hours later*

Meredith is working on the patient and gets a text from Derek.

Derek: please I'm sorry! I swear we didn't dip anything!
Mer: I want a divorce. You can find the papers where we first kissed, the promise ring is where you first asked me out, the engagement ring is where you proposed ( if someone didn't take that already), and the wedding ring is where we got married. I will figure a schedule for the kids. Tonight I will take them to Cristina's and you can have the house and don't you dare come begging for me at Cristina's house, you've done enough damage!
