Deal Breaker

Chapter 33

~Raelynn POV~

As Amy went off to talk to Finnick I pulled Brent aside and asked him, "Did you tell her?"

"No, I figure if she doesn't know it will be better".

"Oh my god it's not that bad I mean my friend is just married to my step-brother no big deal don't worry".

He glares at me for a second then says, "Well if you want her to know so bad why don't you tell her yourself".

"You know what I think I will" I answered. Soon Amy came back into the room and Lawrence asked, "Where's Finnick". That just made her cry more so I slapped him on the arm while Karmin went to comfort Amy.

Lawrence looked at me like I lost my mind and said, "What the hell was that for I didn't do anything but ask a question?"

"Some guys are so blind," I said to myself.

He continued to look at me funny but walked towards the bed. Amy stopped crying but was still very upset, so she and Brent started to leave the room but Amanda yelled, "Brent wait." Then in a quieter voice, "I need to see you for a second please". Brent nodded then told Amy to go to there room. Lawrence woke Ashlynn and she gave him a look that would kill if looks could kill. they walked out and went to there room.

Karmin and Zayn walked out of the room but there was tension between them. Donavan and Shiloh walked over and put their arms around Amanda and I. Brent walked over and said, "What?"

Amanda reached out and hugged him.

Shiloh tensed beside me and Donavan but I gave him a look that said it's ok trust me. He nodded towards me. Donavan looked at me like I was crazy. I finally got Amanda to stop hugging him and said "we better tell the guys before they freak out," she laughed and nodded.

Amanda and I stood next to Brent and I said "Donny Shiloh this is our step-brother Brent Donter". Shock crossed both of their faces and then Shiloh said "How? You don't even have the same last name".

"Well our step-dads last name is Donter but our mom didn't want to switch our last names again so our dad took our last name of Green but Brent was already 18 so he didn't have take that name. you guys have never met Brent because he couldn't be at the wedding because he had college and then he was just never around when you were," Amanda answered.

"I thought your brother was your step-dad's son?" Donavan asked.

"He is, that's why our real dad and mom got a divorce was because he caught her cheating. They tried to work it out and for four years after Zander was born they did but then our mom cheated again and he divorced her. By the time out step dad and mom got married Zander was 11 Brent was 18," I answered.

"Wow your family is messed up."

"Thanks Shiloh, that's really nice of you to say," I respond to Shiloh.

We talk for a little while longer then Brent goes to take care of Amy. Soon Shiloh and Amanda leave to go to their room and it's just me and Donavan.

"Wanna watch a scary movie?" he asks.

"You know I hate scary movies," I state.

He gives me the puppy dog face and instead of giving in to the movie I lean in and kiss him. He smiles and says, "We can do that too." as I am about to kiss him I hear a knock on the door. I groan and throw a pillow at the wall. Donney gets up and answers the door.

I hear Ashlynn talking and Donney agreeing then the door closes and he says "Get ready we are going to gamble".

I try to fight the smile but he knows me to well. I jump up and put on some jean shorts with bling allover them and a black tanktop with a pink blingy jacket. I put on a pair of pink heels that are super cute and we walk out the door.
