Chapter 5 - Copycat

In (Y/n)'s bathroom

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

Right now I am relaxing in the bath, full of bubbles and warm water. I was soaring from the previous battles I had with the akumatized villains and I should clean and wash my scales weekly. Plus this is the only time I have to sing alone. While bathing, Kōhaku was next to me, bathing. I had bought him a tiny bowl so he can also swim in it next me. He asked me; "(Y/n), can you sing a song please?" 

"Why not?" I responded. I started to sing;

Flower, gleam and glow

Let your power shine

Make the clock reverse

Bring back what once was mine

(As you were singing, the water glows light blue.)

Heal what has been hurt

Change the Fates' design

Save what has been lost

Bring back what once was mine

"Woah! You have a beautiful voice." Kōhaku complimented me. I said; "Thanks. And also that song is a spell which is sang to heal faster." 

"That's amazing." Kōhaku said. Then I hear my phone, which is next to me, buzzing (Am I the only one who does this), indicating notifications. I grabbed it, opened it and read it. I said as I startled Kōhaku; "Oh no I forgot that today is the ceremony!" 

I got out of the bath and grabbed a towel to dry myself.

At the park

Chat Noir's P.O.V.

"Excuse me, Chat Noir, but Ladybug and Koi Fish are not here." Théo asked me. I said; "Don't worry about them. I'm sure they'll be here any minute. I can handle this situation alone for now. I'm the one in charge anyway, you know." 

"It's just that, I wanted to ask Koi Fish to autograph this photo. She's amazing. She's so brave, caring, smart, not to forget beautiful, the way she always saves everyone..." Théo said. I glared at the photo that Théo had in his hand. I was jealous because I was in love with her ever since she saved us from Stormy Weather. The Mayor said; "Perhaps the ceremony should commence. It might bring them here faster." 

"Please, just one minute more, Mayor Bourgeois, Koi Fish and Ladybug are going to come, I can feel it..." Théo said. We waited a while longer. Then the Mayor said; "It's only proper for Paris to pay homage to those to protect us from evil. Ladybug, Chat Noir and Koi Fish!" 

He unveils the statue. We looked amazing, accept the fact that I'm taller than the girls.I heard Alya say; "Can I get some photos for the Ladyblog?" 

As the ceremony was over, everyone left, I shook the Mayor's hand and went next to Théo and told him; "These statues are amazing. One thing's slightly off though-- I'm actually taller than Ladybug and Koi Fish."

Théo told me; "Ladybug and Koi Fish didn't show up. I just wanted to express my adoration for Koi Fish. Let her know that everything I had went into her statue. I'm sure if she took a little time to get to know me, she would see how much we have in common. Our devotion to the things we love."

I got even more jealous than how I was before. I didn't want anyone to have Koi Fish. I told him; "Hey, don't mean to burst your bubble, but you know, Koi Fish and me, we're a thing, you know?"
