Chapter 33 - Nightmare

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

We were doing Home Economics and we were given an assignment by Ms Mendeliev. Ms Mendeliev said to us; "Today's assignment is to do research about a specific topic chosen from this bowl, relating to a particular community service."

Ms Mendeliev puts a plastic bowl on the table and inside is filled with paper and the topics written. Diana said to me, Marinette and Alya; "Oh, this is so exciting. I wonder which topic I'll have."

As the Ms Medelieve comes next to Marinette and Alya, they pick their topics and we pick ours too. Ms Medelieve went back to her desk and said; "This assignment is due in 3 weeks."

As the bell rings, everyone exits the class room.

Court Hall

I saw Ariana, Blaze, Diana, Marinette and Alya sitting on 2 benches. I went next to them and asked them; "So what are your assignment titles from Ms Medelieve?"

Everyone took out their paper and unfolded their paper to read it. Marinette reads hers and she said; "A daily life of a dress maker; you will be working with a dress maker and learn the daily routine of a dress maker."

"Newsflash; write a report for the TVi crew to read" Alya said as she reads hers. Diana reads from her paper and she said; "The role of a Librarian; you will be working in the library and see what a librarian does."

"The Benefits and Concerns of being a Makeup Artist." Blaze said as she reads from her paper. Ariana reads from her paper and she said; "Why being a Hairdresser is important in our lives nowadays."

"What makes babies laugh? You will be taking care of a baby" I said as I read my paper. Wait, baby sitting a baby? Diana said to me; "That's a handful responsibility."

"I've dealt with worse." I said to them. I kept on reading my paper and I said to them; "It says that I have to go to Ms Medelieve and tell her that I got this paper. Plus, I'm supposed to have someone else with me."

"Let's all just hope that it's not Chloé." Alya said. As I was walking towards the teachers' staff room, I looked at them as I walked back and I said to them; "Fingers crossed."

I turned back and walked straight forward to the staff room.

Outside the teacher's staff room

As I was walking towards the staff room, I saw Adrien walking towards the staff room as well. As I arrived at the staff room, I knocked on the door and said to one of the teachers who opened the door; "Good morning. May I speak to Ms Medelieve please?"

"Just a second." The teacher said as he closed the door and called for Ms Medieleve. As Adrien came next to me, he said; "Hey (Y/n), by any chance, did you call for Ms Medelieve. I need to speak to her;"

"Yeah, actually, I need to speak with her too." I said to him. As Ms Meldeliev came out of her staff room, she said to me; "Yes, who wanted to speak with me?"

"Actually it's both of us." Adrien said to her. Then Ms Medeliev said to us; "Oh, so you two will be the paired up students for the same assignment for the baby sitting one."

"What?!" Adrien and I said as we exchanged expressions. Wait a minute! So Adrien will be my partner for this assignment? No hunkin' way! Adrien said to Ms Medeliev; "So from where are we going to get a baby?"

"I have the permission of a parent's child to be baby sited by two students. Here is her phone number to contact her. Hope you two do well in your assignment." Ms Medeliev said to us as she gave us the parent's number on a piece of paper and closed the door behind her. I looked at Adrien and he looked at me with the same surprised face. I said to him; "So should we call the parent or..."
