Chapter 17 - Le Mime

Rooftops

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I was jumping from rooftop to rooftop as Koi Fish to reach my house as I was about to transform back to normal. As I was one house away from mine, I leaped into the air and did a front flip. As I did the front flip, I turned back to normal and landed on my balcony with Kōhaku by my side floating. As I enter my room, I said to Kōhaku; "Phew! That was a close one."

I went to sit on my chair as Kōhaku said; "What you did for Alya today was very cool, (Y/n)!"

"You think? I would've liked to do more, but..." I said to him as I was cut off by my aunt from downstairs as she said; "(Y/n)! Alya's here!"

"Don't worry, Ms. (L/n) (the aunt that you're living with comes from you father's side), I'll just head up." Alya said from downstairs.

"She didn't exactly wait very long to tell me the big news. Hide Kōhaku, quick!" I said to him as I heard footsteps. Then I see Alya entering my room, holding Marinette's arm. Alya said; "Girls, you will not believe what just happened to me!"

"Wait? She didn't tell you either yet?" I said to Marinette. Then Alya grabbed my hand as well. As we were outside of my balcony, Alya said to us; "So Koi Fish had just saved a bunch of workers from a supervillain! There were like a gazillion reporters waiting to interview her and... that's when it happened!"

Then Alya shows Marinette and me her phone, and Marinette plays the video. The video shows me as Koi Fish rescuing a child from a few minutes ago before I came here. The video showed a bunch of reporters were trying to talk to me. Then, I greet Alya, who was filming the video. From the video, I said; "Hey! Aren't you Alya, the girl who writes the blog about me? The...Koi Blog!"

"Uh... yeah!" Alya said from her phone. Then I said from her phone; "I like your work. It's awesome. Keep it up!"

After giving her a thumbs up with my right hand, my Miraculous beeps from the video and Alya said from her phone; "Your ring, Koi Fish!"

"Ah! Thanks. Better get going. Gotta swim!" I said from her phone. Then the video stopped. All I could say was; "Uh... that was super..."

"Cool, right? Koi Fish knows me! My blog! She thinks it's awesome! Awesome! Awesooome!" Alya said. Marinette said; "Yeah, that's... awesome!"

"Lemme go grab your laptop!" Alya said as Marinette went with her. After they left, Kōhaku appeared in front of me and I said; "You're right, Kōhaku, I think it made her a little happy."

"Can I see the video?" Kōhaku asked. I said; "Okay, but fast."

As I got her phone, it slips out of my hand, but I grab it before it fell off the balcony. I said; "Whoa! You thought I was gonna drop it, didn't you?"

Oh, but I did next worse thing... I accidentally deleted the video. Kōhaku said; "Video deleted?"

"I didn't just do that! Tell me I didn't just do that!" I said to him and gasped. Kōhaku tried to brighten me up as he said; "You didn't just do that."

"Ahhh!" I said as I crouched down. Then Kōhaku floated next to me and said; "Okay, you did just do that, but the least you didn't drop it!"

"Oh, I really screwed up this time! Alya's gonna kill me!" I said. He said; "It's not the end of the world. I'm sure Alya will understand, uh, she is your best friend!"

"You're right." I said as I stood up. I started to imagine what will happen if I tell Alya that I deleted the video that she will get angry at me. Then I said to Kōhaku; "Uh, on second thought..."
