I sat on my bed as I blow dry my hair. The sound of the front door closing from the opposite of my house. My attention was naturally brought towards the window. I stared out and he was by his car, texting someone. I felt a lump coming in my throat. Don't tell me it's true.
I watched as he stepped into his car and the engine came to life. He's leaving...... He then drove away, further and further into the distance. He left. I closed my eyes and a drop of tear rolled down my cheek.
What she said was true. I can't believe he's actually doing this to me. I told myself I wasn't gonna buy her story. But now that I've seen it with my own eyes, it hurts. Not just by a tiny bit. I'm choked up by my emotions.
Tears that've been held in came rushing down like a waterfall. I hate how I cry so easily. It's stupid. Why is my heart so weak?
I stood up and went over to my chair and grabbed the bear. I started hitting it violently, venting everything out on it. Why do you have to make things so hard for me?! Why?! Why? Why......? I hugged the bear tightly and sobbed. For a moment, I felt comforted. For a moment, it felt like I was safely in his arms again. I didn't know how long I was in that position.
Maybe this is the point where I should just forget about him. The more I held on, the more I'll get hurt. Do it now or never. I took out my phone and began to type. Should I or should I not? My finger lingered over the 'send' button. I bit my lips and closed my eyes as I clicked send. I put it aside and curled myself up into a ball beside the bear.
[Tyler's POV]
I stepped on the brakes and the car slowed down when I saw her house came on sight. I locked the doors and began walking towards her front door. As though she had some sort of sorcery, the door swung opened just as I was about to ring the doorbell."Tyler baby, you've kept me waiting for too long......"she said as she placed her hands on me.
"Come on in darling." She battled her eyelashes while tugging my arm and escorting me in. If it wasn't for a project, I wouldn't be here in the first place. I scanned the living and there wasn't anyone here except us.
"Where's the others? Aren't they coming?"
"Those two rascals? Oh! My bad. I meant CLASSMATES. They couldn't make it so......I guess......its just you and me left." Her hands started roaming about.
"You know tonight could be a–"
"Since they're not coming, let's just get straight to work,"I cut her off right before she had the chance to finish. I dropped her hands and walked over to the coffee table and plopped down right in front of it.
"Everything is in my room though......"
"You could bring it downstairs."
"But Tyler babyyyy, it's too heavy for me...... I don't wanna ruin my manicure either. Just look at it,"she whined and flashed her nails. I'm not here to look at your nails. I'm here to get some work done. I'm not even a bit interested in it anyways.
"I could bring it down then."
"No! Let's just do it in my room. It's easier that way! I mean it would makes things much easier. We could finished it even quicker." And she pulled me upstairs. With her both hands on my chest, she gently pushed me down to sit on her bed.
"Let's start shall we?"
"Isn't that why I'm here for?"
