Movie Time

We settled down in our places and boy, the chair was super big and comfy. Never thought that one day would come, for me to be able to sit on one. I've always thought I'll be single for life. My eyes were soon scanning on the both of them. Hopefully they would warm up to one another soon. Who knows what would happen to them in the middle of the movie, right?

I snuggled next to Tyler while munching on the popcorn. He rested his head on mine and pointed to his mouth.

"Feed me some."

"Open up."

"Ahhhh......" I took one out from the box and my hand was going straight for his mouth. But instead, I popped it in my mouth.

"Hey. You're suppose to feed me." Ignoring his comment, I continuing putting popcorn into my mouth. Just as I was about to eat the next one, he grabbed my arm and shoved the popcorn in his mouth before kissing my fingers one by one.

"Mmmm even your fingers taste good." With a disgusted look, I wiped my fingers on his shirt.

"Not my shirt Winnie!"

"Serves you right! Hah!"

"That's how you wanna play huh?" Lick. He freakin licked my face again.

"Not my face again Tyler!"I scrunched up my nose.

"Just admit you secretly enjoy it babe." I gave him an expressionless look and continued to eat my popcorn without uttering a word.

"You can't just enjoy the popcorn yourself. Give me some." His hand reached over and I lifted up the box, moving it away from him. He made a puppy face and started shaking my arm like a little kid who wanted his Mum to buy him a toy. I ignored him again. He sighed. Is he gonna give up now? I secretly smiled on the inside.

"Hmm I think this would help." He turned my head to face him. I was still giving him an expressionless look. He leaned in and placed a kiss on my forehead. Then, my nose and cheeks. At this point, I was trying really hard to keep a straight face. Before I knew it, his lips were already on mine. I smiled as he pulled away.

"What is this? Trying to bribe me with your lips?"

"At least it's working. You're finally smiling. So 5 kisses for 5 popcorn?"

"It's definitely a bribery!"

"No no. I wouldn't call it a bribery. This is call......making a deal. How about a boundless number of kisses for zero popcorn? What do you say? Can I have a deal?"

"Deal,"I said as I leaned in for another kiss.

The lights started to dim down and all of a sudden, it was a complete silence. Yes, the movie's finally starting!

[Rodrick's POV]                                                                                                                                                     "Erm......it's good to see you again."

"Yeah......nice to see you again too."

"You want some popcorn?"

"No it's okay. I'm good."

"Alright. Then......I'll just leave it in the center. It'll be easy for you to have some of it later on."

"Erm yeah okay. Thanks."

"Your welcome."

Everything about this was just awkward. Despite the bro's talk just now with Tyler did work somehow but......I'm still nervous around her. It's not about me being scared of her. It's just......I think I might have developed some feelings for her. 

When I first stepped into Winnie's house, I was stumped at how beautiful she was. We clicked pretty well and I had this strange connection with her when we're talking the other day. And that's when I knew, she's the one. 

Her smile can have me going crazy for days, weeks. I just couldn't stop thinking about her after that day. She's always running through my mind. She's the first thing I want to see when I wake up. And the last thing I want to see before going to sleep. I know I may sound insane because we've only met once and this was only our second meeting. 

But......I guess that's just how love is. It comes without warning and it's only up to you if you want it to work. If you chose to ignore this feeling, it will soon be even stronger than you can ever imagine. Seize the chance to make a move. Don't be afraid. If there's no chances, create your own. And always, always have faith in yourself.

I was mentally prepared. Sort of. Now, it's just the chance. I took a brief look using my eyes and I thought this was a a good opportunity to tell her.

"Amber I-I......" Suddenly, the lights were dimmed. I blew it up.

"Oh look haha. The movie's starting. Did you have something you wanna say?"

"Yeah......oh I mean no! Let's just enjoy the movie."

"Right okay......"

The movie was great so far but half of the time I was stealing glances at her. So I decided to just eat up and diverted my attention to the screen. I picked one up and so did she too. It was until the both of our hands reached the bottom of the box that I've realised the popcorn were finished. 

She took her hand out immediately and whispered,"Sorry for that." Before her hand returned to her side. Despite it was dark, I could see her blushing. Was there a possibility of her sharing the same feelings that I had for her?

I shifted in my place and moved closer to her. She didn't budged. I placed my hand on my lap and slowly let it slid down to my side. I gulped. My hand steadily moved nearer to hers till there was a few centimetres gap left. Not wanting to look, I gripped her hand. Instead of retreating her hand, it remained. To my surprise, she turned her hand around and interlocked her fingers. I did the same back. I caught her smiling shyly and I smiled to myself pleasingly. I was on cloud nine.

The movie ended and I don't remember anything about it. Except the part where I decided to hold her hand and she gladly let me did it. You don't know what a huge progress that was to me.

[Winnie's POV]                                                                                                                                                                 "So errr what's next?"

"Dinner and there'll be a surprise later on for you girls. Right bro?"

"Yeah man." Amber looked over to me and I shrugged. I wonder what they've planned for us. Anyways ever since we came out from the cinemas, Amber and Rodrick were practically glowing. They looked much more comfortable with one another. I guessed bringing them here was a splendid idea. And I wondered what happened in there......hmm......

After dinner, we drove to a quiet neighbourhood. We unlocked the door and came out of the car while the boys went behind to get something. Only chirping sound that came from the crickets could be heard. Streetlights lit the pathway. The only source of light other than the moon. And there wasn't anyone else except us. 

"Let's go girls,"Tyler said while walking ahead as he held onto some stuffs. I sped up, trying to catch up with him. He's walking so fast. But somehow I managed to catch up and matched my pace with him. I looked over to what he was holding and gasped softly.
