Out of all her years skating she couldn't see the day that her older sister will quit being her coach; until today. It was now 1:12 am and she was still mad at her and didn't understand why she would do that to her.

'Stupid sister,' She did a triple salchow and landed it perfectly,' what makes you think I can trust him.' She had skated for some time now in the ice rink to release her anger and frustration. "Ugh! What is life trying to do to me!' She stopped and tried her best not to stomp the ice.

"Know what, I'm going out for a run." She glided out of the ice and went to take off her skating shoes and put on the same sneakers she came with.

Her mind was now at ease; the cold autumn  wind blew her curly blonde hair as she ran. 'I wonder if sis knew I snuck out of the house? Whatever, not my concern right now.' She had lost track of time while she ran along the sidewalk

"And to those who say Russia is not a safe place to run at midnight HA! I did it and nothing bad happened as yet." Just then, Ecaterina bounced into someone.

"Sorry, are you okay?" She stood up quickly and lent a hand to the person. The person on the ground slowly raise his head up and made eye contact with her. "It's you!" She yelled after helping the same boy she met the other day.

"Me?" He scratches the back of his head confused, "Oh yeah, you were with Yakov and that tall black haired woman." He pointed out. "What are you doing here in the middle of the night?"

"My name is Ecaterina and that tall woman you were mentioning just now is my older sister, Lidiya." Ecaterina crosses her arms together and looked at the taller grey-headed man's eyes.

"And I'm Viktor Nikiforov." Viktor says when he placed his right pointing finger on his lips. Ecaterina knew he was a rising figure skater but this didn't mean that she had to be respectful to him. In a matter of fact, if she is not fully respectful towards her older sister then what chance will she have with other people.

"Anyways what are you doing here early in the morning?" She twisted a strand of her golden locks whilst looking at him. Too bad the peaceful run she wanted was now ruined since she bumped into him.

"Me?" He pointed at himself," I'm preparing for the World Junior Figure Skating Championships. Didn't you know it's coming up?" He told her. She was surprised by the fact actually. She had only participated in five small figure skating competitions and one in a European Junior Championship so five in total. "Are you going to let Yakov train you?" Viktor suddenly asked with a serious expression on his face.

"What's with that sudden question?" She stopped twirling her hair and place both of her hands at her sides. "It doesn't concern you so why do you ask?" 'People sticking their nose into other people's business.' She secretly said in her mind filled with malevolence.

"Why? Can't I ask? I just wanted to know so I can prepare myself." Viktor said straightforwardly.

"Are you trying to offend me? Is it my skating or attitude? Which is it?" She was fully aware on how she acts and knew that she was still an amateur in the skating world. If she wanted fame in it, she will have to adjust her personality and not have a two-sided character. She despised people who had that kind of behaviour and so, she will have to do something with the way she acts. She has been thinking a lot about it actually and was trying to do something but that would be weird. Changing the way you act so suddenly might end up peculiar.

"Oh, I'm not trying to offend your skating. I actually saw your debut while I was in the same competition as you were. If you decide to become Yakov's trainee then you will have an advantage because Svetlana is also one of Yakov's disciplines." Ecaterina's ears perked up when she heard what him said. It was a great advantage. If she decides to have Yakov coach her then she will have an inside look on how Svetlana is and how she trains. "But I only found out a few hours ago and I could be wrong." He said with a carefree goofy smile.

'Look like I have to do some research.' Ecaterina thought. "Okay, it's official. I will become one of Yakov's disciplines." She made up her mind on the spot.

"Yay." Viktor claps.

Ecaterina's POV...

"Thanks for bringing me home," I said with my hands tucked into my white thick jacket. "Tell Yakov that I will be there around 12 or something." A white puff of steam came out of my mouth as I spoke. Winter was nearing and since we were in Russia it was already cold.

"Okay, but why are we at the back of your house?" He asked questionably.

"You don't need to know now leave." 'And to say I was trying to change my personality? Well, it's not going well one bit.' The sun was rising now and I was getting tired. 'Ugh, I'm going to look like a zombie when I wake up.' I mentally sighed and looked at Viktor's back fading away.

'I guess it's time now.' I took out the key for the back door of the house and slowly inserted it inside. I tried my best not to make a sound while opening the door and I succeeded.

"Where have you been this whole time?" I tensed up when the lights suddenly turned on while sis spoke. "Who were you talking to just now?" She walked closer to me but then stopped two feet away and looked down.

'This is a perfect opportunity to try and change my personality. I can do this.' I was determined to turn over a new leaf but the only thing that was pulling me back was that I didn't know how to.

"I have decided to become one of Ugly's disciplines." I suddenly said.
