My eyes slowly rose open, the empty white walls in front of me coming into view. I felt a knot in my back, and I realized that I had been asleep on the floor. I slowly eased myself into sitting position, realizing that there was nothing else in the room but myself. My hands were cuffed together, too, by a white metal with the Aether insignia on it.

"Where am I?" I wondered out loud, my eyes darting to both sides of the room. It wasn't long  before I watched the door open. A few Aether foundation employees stood at the entrance, each wearing the same stoic expression.

"The president would like to see you now," one stated bluntly, as him and another rushed in and pulled me up so that I was standing. They stood at either sides of me, pushing me out of the room and down the whitewashed hallways of the building.

Eventually, we ended up in a strange white room, one I had never been in. Lusamine strode in eloquently, her high heels making a small "click" with her ever step. Once standing on front of me, she put her hand on her hip as her lips curled into a devious smirk.

"(Y/n)," she said playfully. "It's about time that we had a little talk, isn't it?"

"There's nothing I want to say to you," I growled, an employee nudging me after I did so. I let out a small cry of pain, which caused Lusamine to chuckle slightly. "Well, there's a lot I would like to talk about."

"I'm aware that you're rather close with my once daughter Lillie, and even closer with my once son, Gladion," she accused, a frown forming on her face.

"What do you mean, 'once'?" I snarled. The employee to my left went to punch me again, but Lusamine put her hand up for him to stop.

"You see, they used to be good children," she sighed. "Obedient. Beautiful. Smart. But then, when I started to conduct research on my precious beasts, they both went off to do other things. The fact that they could ever disobey their mother like that is... ugly. Unbearable. So, no, I don't consider them to be my children anymore."

"You can't just disown your children like that," I muttered weakly, Lusamine's smile only widening.

"I'm not finished," she scoffed. "They could have been saved, though, after they ran off. They could return to being my precious possessions once more. But, no, they had to go off and meet all of these disgusting people who polluted their minds. And it's becoming more and more clear to me that YOU'RE the main culprit!"

"I didn't do anything," I retaliated, "except help them be happier and better people!"

"That's what you think, scum," Lusamine scoffed. "You're absolutely ugly. Disgusting. You're one of the only things that stand in between me and my precious beasts. You've done nothing but stand in my way, up until this point."

"What do you mean?" I asked, a wave of fear suddenly climbing up my spine. Lusamine only smiled as she threw out the pokeball in her hand, a Mismagius appearing in front of me.

"This'll teach you to leave my son alone," she snarled. "You've polluted his mind with such awful things. Maybe if I destroy you, the thing he cares about so much, he'll finally come back to me to beg for forgiveness!"

"Gladion would never-"

"DON'T YOU SAY HIS NAME!" Lusamine screamed. "YOU DON'T DESERVE THE RIGHT TO EVER SPEAK HIS NAME. DISGUSTING, UGLY FILTH LIKE YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR PLACE!"

Suddenly, she regained her composure, the two employees at my sides tightening their grip on me.

"Mismagius, use shadow ball."

I closed my eyes, preparing for the worst as the Pokémon in front of me formed a large black ball. Surprisingly, I was still in tact when I opened them. The two grunts at my sides let go of me, a small Pokémon to my front.

"Null!"

I turned behind me and saw Gladion rushing towards me, a look of pure anger on his face. "DON'T YOU DARE LAY A FINGER ON HER, MOTHER!"

"Ufufu," Lusamine cackled. "I knew you'd come rushing here, my ex child. Now, be a good little boy for once and call the Pokémon you STOLE from me back to its pokeball right this instant."

"Hell no," Gladion growled. "You hurt (y/n) and said awful things to her. You're the disgusting one."

"I knew it!" Lusamine screeched as she retracted Mismagius back to its ball. "That disgusting girl has polluted your mind too much!"

"(Y/n) is anything but disgusting," he spat. "She's one of the sweetest, most caring, most beautiful people I've ever met."

"Hmph," she sighed. "Guess there's no saving you. It's clear this evil little girl has stolen my once son away from me." She turned away from us, suddenly beckoning for a grunt to walk towards her. He handed her a small box, which she placed on the ground.

"It's time for me to go, then," she grinned. "There's nothing beautiful left in this world for me. No, I'm going to go be with my beautiful beasts, where I can finally be happy."

"Guzma!" She yelled, the white haired man seemingly appearing out of nowhere. Gladion put his arm around me and pulled me back, and we watched as a hole seemed to open in the sky. I noticed the box shake slightly, a familiar cry echoing from it. "Nebby is in there!"

Before I could rush in to stop her, it was too late. Lusamine and Guzma both traveled up the hole, it suddenly closing after they left. The box remained completely still, as it felt like time had came to a stop. Lillie and Hau rushed over to meet us, Lillie undoing my cuffs with a key she found as soon as she saw me.

"Where... did she go?"
