Aarav's P.O.V.

So.. this is manali. I have to admit it's very beautiful. It does take one's breath away.

I look around and see my buddy.

"What's up with that goofy smile Vi?"

I stop the car in front of a café and walk out.

Vivaan still stares at his phone and barely notices me.

I extend my foot and wait for him to stumble. He does.

He looks up to scowl at me. I give him a sweet smile.

"Who is it?" I ask.

"Someone I met the other day," he clears his throat and it strikes me that she is not just someone.

" Yeah. Yeah. I can see that," I tease him.

He walks away without a word.

Wow. So that is how it is, huh?

Definitely not going to leave it there.

"My little boy is finally growing up," I say over acting.
With one hand on my chest and other wiping fake tears .

He turns back and pushes me.

I stumble back and fall on someone.

I turn around and my breath abandons me again.

Her face itself is very ordinary but something about her just shines.
You know the kind you want to turn around just to have a second glance?

I must be too close because I can notice her eyes. Brown. Warm and deep.

Which seem to currently glare at me. I compose myself and stand upright.

"Sorry," I say.

"Whatever," I hear her mutter " I know your kind."

She walks away and I stare at her back angrily.

Who the hell does she think she is?

I give my order and she does too.

The girl behind the counter looks confused.

"I ordered first", I say.

"I don't care. I walked in first".
I stare at her.

She seems confused by her words too but quickly replaces the look with defiance.

I turn back to the girl behind counter and wink at her.
She flushes bright red and gives me what I want.

"I don't believe this," I hear the girl beside me grumble.

"Loser," I say sticking my tongue out regretting it at the same second.
What am I, two?

"Oh my god", she exclaims .

I frown not understanding her reactions.

"I am in the company of intellectual prodigy. Can I have your autograph, sir?"

I smile. Not because it's funny but if I am two, she is not much older.

I take my order and extend my hand.

"Aarav."

She stares at it with distaste.

"I don't bite," I say but can't stop myself before I say
"Even though you look de-"

Thank you, mouth. Stop before you embarrass me any further.

She looks stunned but gives me her hand.

"Paari,"She takes her order, pays for it and goes away. I watch her.

Then I frown and look around wildly.

Where did Vivaan go now? In his state he might get run over by a car or drown or God knows what.

Love.

I snicker. Fools everywhere.
