Four people come into the garden and sit down.
"Is Dia my daughter?" asks her mother.
"They pulled her out of you, you should know," starts her husband but hastily stop when he notices the glint in her eye.
"They are friends??"
"Of course they are. No relationship is ideal without the friendship," sighs Aarav's dad.
"It's a good thing you are not his mother. Didn't you watch the saas bahu serials?
His wife would torture me while you drink tea and Aarav remains friends with Dia," his wife grumbles.
Dia's mother goes and puts her arms around her.
"We have to make them see they are perfect for each other," she says.
"Who are we kidding? If the kids don't want each other, we will all let them lose this."
"Guys, don't you think we are creepy, spying on our kids?"
"We definitely are but atleast we spy on them only outdoors these days."
"But I don't want to give up so easily!
We have to do something."
Aarav's father turns red.
"I kind of did something."
"What?"
"What?"
"What?"
"You know the guy who just arrived?"
"Uh-huh”
"Yeah"
"Hmm"
"He is not alone. He is Ankhita's brother and he came with her."
Aarav's mother turns white.
"Nooooo"
"That's the best Monica Geller's impression I have ever seen," says Dia's father, admiringly.
His wife glares at him.
"FOCUS"
"Ahem..Who is Ankhita?"
"Aarav's ex girlfriend."
