So Italics for Dia's thoughts and Bold for Aarav's . Okay??****
Araav stares at Dia, his mind blank.
She slowly gets down on one knee before the stranger who stares at her in bemusement.
"I think I heard my heart leave me to reach you. Do you believe in love at first sight? I totally do now. Wanna get into a relationship??"
He blinks.
Aarav gets up and drags her up. His face looks so red that Dia checks his ears to make sure there isn't any steam.
She let's out a small laugh and kisses his cheek.
Get clarity before you go around kissing him, she berates herself a second later."Ahem.. guys I am Akhil.
I came here for.. Never mind.
Can you point me the guest room?"Dia turns to him and nods her head in the direction he wants.
After he goes away, Aarav just pushes Dia away and sits on a swing in the garden.
"Aarav, talk to me."
"No."
"Aarav.."
"No."
" I won't do that again. I think I hurt my knee. Why the hell do guys always get on one knee?"
He lets out an unwilling snort.
"Beats me. I won't do that."
Dia ignores the quick rush of blood in her head.
"What will you do?"
"I will figure it out."
Dia smiles.
"So I am forgiven right? Being friends and all?"
Friends???
" Yeah of course we are!"
Friends????
"And friends talk, they don't sulk!"
I hate that word now.
"Of course."
Why doesn't she stop using the damn word?
Dia looks at him for a second.
"Friends,"she thinks bitterly "I wonder if friends can make your heart go upside down!"
But she says out loud," Give me a hug now. Then we will meet tonight for the football match."
He puts his arms around her and let's her snuggle.
