Infamous Gray (Sequel to NLOA)

Chapter 4

Sorry for the delay! I was away for a week and didn't have time to write, but here you go :)

I was forced to watch Austin endure a beating for just under half an hour. The torture killed me as much as it was killing him. I screamed, yelled, shouted, struggled as much as I could, I was screaming his name but he couldn't see or hear me. Most of the time I could hear Derek's heartless laugh and it made my blood boil.

"That's enough!" Derek's strong voice, brought Austin's beating to an abrupt halt. Relief washed over me but it didn't cover me enough to the point where I was happy again.

Austin and the guy looked out to Derek but at the exact moment, Derek turned his laptop around. "No!" I screamed but Derek had already muted me because there was no reaction from him.

"Who was that?" I heard Austin ask. My heart started to race. "Another one of your sick scumbags?" His voice dripped with so much venom my heart dropped.

"Nevermind them" Derek said in a smooth voice. "Leave" I heard a door open then close with a metal ring that seemed to echo longer than I expected. Were they in some sort of basement?

"Now are you-" Derek's voice was cut off when he closed his laptop. The screen proceeded to a black screen for a few seconds before the call ended and the window disappeared.

Sadistic guy got hold of one of my legs and began unraveling the tape but I was searching the laptop, no I was summoning it with my mind to open the window and somehow change the screen to where Derek was again. My face grew closer to it by every second that flew past but nothing changed, nothing happened.

"There you go" Sadistic guy pulled me up and allowed me to stretch my legs, but not my arms. We both took a step back and I was forced to face the four new guys. Tears were still streaming down my face, but these cruel people didn't care at all.

"Austin" And for a moment, the stupid part of my brain thought that he was going to tell me something about him but when he continued another part of me, died. "I want you to take her downstairs to get something to eat but we'll be outside waiting to escort her to our new site" One of the new guys spoke directly to Sadistic guy, Austin.

I immediately started fighting against Sadistic guy's grip and I guess because he was surprised and it was unexpected, I managed to get loose. "I am not going to live with him, I refuse to!" I pointed at Sadistic guy. "Put me with someone else, just not him"

So, it now seems like Derek didn't put Sadistic guy in here with me because he was good looking, but because his name was, Austin. For now I was going to try get away from Sadistic guy because I was not going to take the chances in running, due to the very fact that they had guns.

They all just stared at me with uninterested faces. "Take her to the kitchen then meet us outside" The guy spoke to Sadistic guy. I continued stepping back whenever he stepped towards me. The four new guys left the room, obviously not taking any part in this struggle.

I hit the bed I will be sleeping in for god know's how long, he tusked and grabbed onto me but I lost my balance at his sudden movement and fell onto the bed with him descending onto me. I shrieked but he pinned my arms above me head. "Listen!" He yelled. "I suggest you just comply with everything, or you'll wish you were dead"

My mouth slammed shut and I let him drag me up and out into the kitchen. We both walked down the wooden stairs. They creaked at every step we took which gave me a sense of just how old this place was.

Just when I thought I had seen it all, I saw several guys ranging from 18-30 loading guns into duffel bags. I guess you could say my fear deepened.
