I woke up the next morning to the sound of laughter coming from downstairs. I slowly rolled over to be greeted by a cold breeze as Trevor had clearly left the bedroom door open when he went downstairs.

After staring aimlessly at the door for about two minutes I finally decided that it's probably best that I go downstairs. I climbed out of bed watching the goosebumps form on my body as soon my feet met with the soft carpet. I threw on a jumper over my tee and chucked on a pair of leggings before finishing my look with a pair of fluffy socks and a messy bun. After checking in the mirror to make sure my bun was steady on my head, I made my way downstairs.

I could still hear their laughter coming from the front room as I took each step. Though I noticed quickly that as soon as I stood on a creaky step, there was immediate hushing before a few giggles were let out.

Confused, I walked into the front room to see them all looking up at me. All apart from Charlie. Where is he? I thought to myself.

"Morning..." I said to them all as a confused look still covered my bare face.

"Morning" they all giggled back.

I sat down on the sofa next to Sean and brought my legs up to my chest in attempt to keep warm on this chilly morning. As I glanced at my phone, I realised that the time read 10:03am.

"Where's Charlie?" I asked the others. As soon as the words came out my mouth, a smirk formed on all of their faces.

Just as I was about to question their weird behaviour, Charlie entered the room, rubbing his eyes from sleep. He was wearing a pair of grey jogging bottoms and a navy top.

"Here he is" Liam said as he and the others boys started laughing hysterically. "Morning, Sleeping Beauty" Gabe chimed in before they all started laughing again. Gripping their stomachs as they started hurting from all the laughing, I assume.

Charlie looked at me in confusion and raised his eyebrows as if to say 'what the hell are they doing?'

I shrugged my shoulders and glanced back over at the boys who were now calming down. He soon took a seat on the beanbag which was next to my spot on the sofa. I quickly smiled at him which he then returned. I love his smile. It's like a cheesy smile but not too cheesy. He always shows off his teeth and finishes it with the tip of his tongue in between his teeth. When he's really happy, I've noticed that he gets small creases next to his eyes as they squint a little.

I soon noticed that we were just sat smiling each other when Liam began to sing.

"and they called it puppy love..." as the others all chimed in before they burst out laughing.

My head jolted towards the boys as my mouth hung open but was quickly replaced by a smirk as I tried to hold back my laughter. I quickly glanced at Charlie to see his reaction and saw that his eyes were wide open and just fixed on the boys as his cheeks started to turn a deep shade of red.

I turned back to Sean who was sat next to me and I burst out laughing, mimicking his current actions.

I understood now. They all thought something was going on between Charlie and I or at least that we liked each other. I shrugged it off, laughing to myself as I stood up to go and get ready.

"I'm going to get ready, I need to go to Bluewater today" I announced, walking towards the door.

"Me too" Trevor said, copying my actions.

Soon all of the boys stood up and headed to their bedrooms too.

Me and Trevor were currently sat in our room whilst getting ready. We had both already had a shower and now I was sat on the floor doing my makeup in the giant mirror whilst Trevor was on his phone.

"So is there something going on between you and Charlie?" Trevor asked, still looking at his phone.

"No!" I exclaimed as my head quickly shot in his direction.

He laughed at my reaction as he glanced over at me.

"Sorry, It's just because that's what the others think too" he smirked.

"Well there's nothing going on between us..." I confirmed.

"Do you want there to be something going on between you?" He asked, genuinely intrigued.

Instead of replying I just looked at him before returning my attention to the mirror where I continued to do my make-up.

Do I want something between us? I genuinely didn't know the answer. Charlie is a nice guy. Lovely actually. He's so genuine and interested in what I have to say. His smile could brighten up my day in an instant and it gives me butterflies whenever he says my name.

"Why are you smiling to yourself?" I suddenly heard Trevor say, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"I wasn't, was I?"

"Yeah you were. You were just sat there smiling to yourself. What were you thinking about?" He asked, smirking. Cleary he knew the answer. He knew me better than anyone else.

"Someone's in loooove" Trevor said in a weird voice, extending the word love.

"Shut up, Trevor!" I laughed "I'm not in love. I don't like him that way!" I said, throwing a cushion at him that was already on the floor.

"Tay, I know you better than anyone else. Damn, I know you better than you know yourself. And I know that you like him" He replied, throwing the cushion back to me.

What even is the point in me liking him anyway? I won't get anything from it other than a broken-heart. He'd never like me back. He has fans way prettier than me, way smarter than me and altogether just better than me. He deserves someone worth so much more. Not some lonely, weird girl who lost all of her friends. I'm worthless and he deserves the world.
