Taya's POV
Later on in the day, whilst the boys were in the studio, I decided to go home for a while to see my family since I haven't seen them in a week or so.
When I finally arrived at my house it was around 11:15 and so I had pretty much the whole day to see my family. As I walked towards the front door, excitement filled my stomach as they were completely unaware that I was coming home.
Rather than letting myself in which would result in startling my mum, I knocked on the door and waited for it to swing open, which it soon did.
"Taya!" My mum gasped, swinging her arms around me in a huge embrace. We both laughed as I hugged her back, before hearing a delightful screech before a pair of tiny hands had latched onto my leg. As I pulled away from my mother and looked down, I noticed Ryan clinging onto me and trying his best to hug me.
In return, I picked him up (which I rarely ever do) and gave him the biggest hug ever before we all made our way into the front room.
"How have you been?" I gently spoke to my mum as we sat on the large corner sofa whilst Ryan proceeded to play with his toy cars on the floor.
"I've been feeling a lot better, thank you. I've been to the doctor one time since I left the hospital for a check-up but they've told me I'm fit and healthy again" hearing those words caused me to let out a massive sigh of relief. I was so happy that my mum was back to being herself again. The usual cheery mum that I could talk to about anything.
You'd think that her being ill wouldn't affect what I told her about my personal life but in reality it affects it more than you would ever imagine. I didn't want to worry her or seem like I was just dumping my problems on her since she had her own problems to deal with. Nor did I want to brag about how happy I was and how much fun I was having whilst she was stuck in hospital.
"Anyway, how have you been? I want you to tell me all about how it's been living with the boys and the project!" She asked. I was very hesitant at first. Purely because I felt like I was bragging a little, but judging by the look on her face, she was super eager to find out.
And so I proceeded to tell her what it was like. I told her about all the funny times we had and all of the stupid things Liam would randomly say and how I felt like I had known them for years. Or how Trevor would bully me as though he was my older brother, despite the small age gap between us. I couldn't help but hide my smile at the thought of the boys which my mum noticed.
"What about Charlie?" My mum said, raising her eyebrows with a knowing look.
"What about Charlie?" I asked, acting clueless.
"You know exactly what I mean. I'm not stupid, Taya. I know there's something going on between you two!" She laughed slightly as she noticed my cheeks turn a deep shade of red.
"Charlie loves Taya!" Ryan shouted before falling into hysterics on the floor causing mine and my mothers eyes to widen.
"I told you so!" She pointed.
"Okay fine!" I started as I sighed in defeat. "I'll tell you, but you have to promise you wont laugh or make fun of me!" I demanded which my mother agreed to do.
"Charlie does like me... Well he did..." I started.
"What do you mean he did? Why doesn't he anymore?"
"Well once he told me he liked me, I told him I needed time to think. So, I was hoping he would take this time to think as well and maybe realise that he doesn't actually like me like that but instead just likes me as a friend" I explained.
"Why don't you want him to like you? It's so obvious you like him..."
"Because I don't want the fans to hate me. It sounds stupid but I've had enough of people hating me and giving me a hard time. If I do tell Charlie I like him and then we do date then the fans are going to think I'm 'stealing' him or something. I don't want that! Don't get me wrong, I think his fans are lovely, but he deserves someone way better than me. I met loads of fans the other day who would be so much better for Charlie than I ever would be..."
"Don't ever say that again!" My mum demanded as she launched forward and hugged me, noticing the sheer embarrassment that covered my face "You're 100% worth having Charlie love you. You may not see it but you're smart, beautiful, funny and so much more. Go after that boy or someday you might regret it... I've never had anyone look at me the way Charlie looks at you and I'm 43 years old!" She carried on.
Hearing those last words about someone never looking at her the way Charlie looked at me really broke my heart. My mum was so deserving of love and it was so sad that she had no one to love her and make her happy.
"Mum, you should go out! Go and meet someone, you deserve it!" I told her despite the look of complete shock on her face.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you should go out and have some fun!" I laughed.
"Taya, I'm not sure about that... what about Ry-" She retaliated.
"We'll look after him! I'm going to make a quick phone call, I'll be back in a sec..." I told my um as I slowly walked up to my bedroom to make a phone call.
*ring* *ring*
"Hey, Taya. What's up?" I heard Charlie's voice echo down the phone.
"Hey Charlie. I don't suppose your mum is busy tonight?" I asked, holding back a giggle.
"Erm... I'm not sure, why?" He questioned. I could hear the confusion his voice.
"Well my mum deserves a break and I'm sending her to go out tonight and have fun and so I wondered if your mum would join her? I thought it might be nice for her to make a friend and also it'd be cute if our mums were pals" I laughed causing him to laugh too.
"I'll call her right now and get back to you!" He laughed before we said our goodbyes and hung up.
This was going to be eventful...
