Once we'd finished the pizza and we were all bloated, we all moved into the front room once again.
"I'm shattered. I didn't sleep last night because of the flight" Trevor announced, rubbing his eyes.
This time on the sofas were me, Trevor and now Charlie like at the table, once again with me in the middle. On the other sofa, Liam and Sean were sat full of pizza and Gabe was sat on the foot stall.
"Yeah me too, I'm so tired" Liam agreed.
"Same here" Gabe chimed in.
"Well it is 10:30, why don't you go to sleep and catch up with the time zone" I sugested, seeing all of them yawning causing Sean to also yawn.
"I might do the same, actually" Sean then said.
I looked at Trevor who had now stood up and was getting ready to go upstairs.
"Do you want me to come up now too so I don't wake you up when I do come up?" I asked since we were sharing a room.
"No, it's okay. I'm a heavy sleeper so just come up whenever" he said, yawning yet again.
I smiled in return, thankful for his reply since I was not tired at all.
I turned to Charlie who seemed to be the only one who hadn't claimed to be tired.
"Are you staying up or going to bed?" I asked him.
"I'm staying up" he replied, smiling.
Once we had all said goodnight and everyone had left the room, me and Charlie were left in an awkward silence.
Though, it was not long until he spoke up.
"So how long have you lived in London?" he asked.
"All my life, how about you?" I replied.
"Me too" he smiled.
And yet again we were in silence.
"So uh...you've just left school right?" I asked.
He nodded his head yes and said "so have you, right?"
We continued to talk about school and our plans for college or sixh from etc.. I found out that Charlie actually still doesn't know what he wants to do. He has applied for sixth form and college and is indesisive about which to choose.
Since school only finished yesterday, he still has another week to decide what he wants to do until the deadline ends.
I told Charlie about the media course I would be taking and he seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. It felt nice. Made a difference to my other friends, well that is apart from Trevor. Not that I would even consider them friends anymore. They've given up with texting and calling me and have accepted the fact I dont want to talk to them, still unaware as to why. Though this doesn't bother me whatsoever.
We then moved onto the subject of me saving up my money for an Apple Mac so I can use better editing software. Luckily for me, I already have a great camera which I was luckyenough to get from my Grandpa before he passed away. He knew how much I loved and enjoyed filming and editing and so spent his money on buying me the camera of my dreams.
"I have an iMac upstairs if you want to have a go on that, see if you like it before you buy it" Charlie said, pointing to the door.
"er..sure, yes please" I said smiling as I followed him upstairs to what I presumed would be his bedroom.
I was correct.
He gently closed the door behind me so our talking didn't wake up the rest of the boys.
We sat at his desk for a while after that. Just him showing me videos he had made, I showed him a few that I had made and posted to YouTube. It was nice having someone showing a genuine interest in what I liked. And the fact that he was interested in editing too was great.
I don't even remember how but throughout the conversation we had managed to make our way over to his bed, where we then sat for a few hours just talking about anything and everything. It felt like I'd known Charlie for years. It was weird but in a good way.
A yawn escaped my mouth just as I checked my phone for the time. 1:43 am. Damn.
"Are you tired?" Charlie asked, referring to my yawn.
"I am quite tired now actually. Have you seen the time?" I replied, laughing.
"Oh I didn't even realise it was that late" Charlie said ater checking his Apple Watch which I noticed he had on.
I stood up from his bed and so did he. He hugged me goodnight before I walked to mine and Trevor's room to go to sleep.
I quickly slipped on my All Time Low tee and a pair of shorts before sliding into bed. I didn't have to worry about Trevor seeing since he was sound asleep and it was pitch black. Not that I would care if he saw me anyway to be honest.
As I was laying in bed, I couldn't help but think of the nice things Charlie had to say and the little things you don't tend to notice about a person.
Like how he makes incredible eye-contact when I was talking about my interests. And me of all people, I hat eye-contact, but it was just something about his that made me feel happy. Like he actually cared about what I had to say.
Or the way he had the cheesiest smile whenever I laughed. Or when he would laugh he would slightly bite the very tip of his tongue.
I just found him so mezmerising.
I suddenly realised what I was thinking and immediately tried to push the thoughts to the back of my head. I can't think like this. It makes it sound like I like him. I don't wan't that to happen.
What if I do have feelings for him? No, I'm just being stupid now.
I've only known the boy for about nine hours and I'm already contemplating whether or not I like him as more than a friend.
I'm so stupid...I laughed to myself.
Finally the thoughts were pushed to the back of my head and I fell into a deep sleep.
