A few days had past and we finally got the all clear that my mum was ready to come home meaning me and my brother would go back home as well.

I was currently packing our few things whilst Ryan was downstairs with the boys. I was now sat on the floor folding clothes and sorting out piles when I heard a faint knock on the door.

"Come in" I said loudly, making sure they could hear me.

As I looked in the direction of the door, I saw a sad Trevor slowly enter the room and sit himself down on our bed that he gave up for the past couple of days.

"Hi Trev, what's up?" I asked him.

"I just don't want you to go home" he said, sadly. "It's just so fun with you being here and I don't want you to leave" he continued.

"Aw, I'm only an hour away and don't worry I'll see you in a couple of days hopefully. I just need to be there for my mum right now. I can't leave her to look after Ryan by herself, especially after just being released from hospital yesterday"

My mum was actually released yesterday but I decided to give her time to herself before we came home.

I glanced back over at Trevor who had a sad look on his face. Feeling heartbroken by this look, I moved onto the bed, next to him, and wrapped my arms tightly around him. He soon did the same back and there we sat for a couple of minutes just taking in each others presence before I had to leave.

"We need to stop treating this like I'm flying away or something. I'm literally only an hour away on the train" I laughed at our goofiness.

Soon, the bags were packed and it was time for me and Ryan to go home.
Everyone gathered at the door to say goodbye as we left the house and began our short walk to the train station. I hugged each of them goodbye, Trevor's lasting especially long as it felt like I'd never see him again.

For some reason Charlie was being extremely quiet and has been ever since the other day when he wanted to tell me something. It's weird. Have I done something wrong?

I pushed the thought to the back of my head and walked with Ryan to the station before getting on our train and leaving.

The boys did offer to come with us but I said no because it was just inconvenient for them.

On the train journey, Ryan spent the whole time telling me how much he loves spending time with the guys. He told me about how Gabe let him play on his small electric drums whilst he sat on his lap, and how Sean and Liam played chase with him in the garden. He also wouldn't stop talking about how Trevor would pretend to be a rock star with him where they would play to their millions of fans. And the last thing he mentioned struck me.

"And I like Charlie too"

"oh yeah, why's that?" I asked curiously.

"Because he loves you"

I laughed at his random outcome but this soon came to an end when I took into account the serious expression that covered his face.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"I heard him tell Sean that he loves you" he said seriously but giggling at the end.

"I don't think you heard it right, Ry" I laughed.

"I did so!" he said, offended.

He clearly either didn't hear them correctly or misinterpreted their conversation, either way he shouldn't have been listening anyway.

I was about to tell him off for doing so when I noticed we had arrived at our stop.

After the short walk home, we eventually arrived at our beloved house. Before I even got the chance to place the key in the lock, the door swung open to reveal a very happy expression on my mums face.

"Taya! Ryan!" she screeched as she gave us giant hugs.

We both walked into the house, making ourselves at home before I headed to the kitchen to make me and my mum a cup of tea.

With the finished teas in my hands, I made my way into the front room where she sat with Ryan.

"Here you go, mum" I said sweetly, holding the cup out for her.

"Thank you, honey" she replied as I sat down next to her on the comfortable sofa. "So, Ryan's been telling me about your stay with the boys. What's it been like?"

"Honestly mum, it's been incredible. I actually feel like I've known them all for years, I've never felt like that with any of my friends from school. They're just such genuinely nice people and they're so caring" I explained as I felt myself smile uncontrollably.

My mum could see how happy I was just by the way I spoke about them.

"Are you excited to start college?"

Oh god. College. That hasn't even crossed my mind this whole week!
Don't get me wrong, I'm beyond excited to go to college but I haven't even looked at what my summer project is.

I quickly whipped out my phone and logged onto my email account.

Judging by the look on my face, my mum knew exactly what I was doing and just laughed at me.

Quickly opening up the email from my college I discovered that my project was to make a music video to a song of my choice.

Great. A music video to a song of my choice. Who will I ever find to be a part of that? Other than the band I'm friends with...

A rush of joy coursed through my body as the excitement began to erupt.

This was going to be amazing.
