We spoke to the fans for a while before deciding to head home since it was getting really late by now.

As we entered the house, only the hallway light was on but the rest of the rooms were in complete darkness.

"I think everyone's gone to bed" I told Charlie as I checked the time on my phone, realising it was now 36 minutes past midnight.

"Really? What's the time?" he asked as I showed him my phone.

"Oops" he continued as he let out a quiet laugh, careful not to make too much noise.

I laughed as well before letting out a small yawn.

"I really enjoyed myself tonight" Charlie said seriously as he smiled and stepped closer to me.

"I had a great time too. Thank you for tonight" I replied stepping a bit closer and wrapping my arms around Charlie in a tight embrace.

After a short while, I pulled back but left my arms resting on Charlie's shoulders wrapped around his neck as I looked into his eyes.

He pulled a cheeky grin as he stared back at me. I felt the butterflies erupt in my stomach as I noticed him begin to lean in closer.

Every so often, Charlie's gaze would flicker to my lips before getting lost in my eyes yet again. Which I would mimic as I glanced at his lips.

It wasn't long before one of my hands had made its way to the back of Charlie's neck as the other one was gently resting on his cheek.
His hands were placed on my lower back as I began to feel his breathe on mine.

He smiled once more before closing the gap and attaching his soft lips with mine.

It was incredible. Our lips moulded together like two puzzle pieces that were waiting to be connected. I felt him smile into the kiss causing the butterflies to go even crazier, if that was actually possible.

The kiss was only short, about 15 seconds.

As we pulled away, I stayed looking at his lips with the brightest smile on both of our faces.

"Finally!" We heard from the top of the stairs as our heads shot in the direction of the voice. There, we saw the rest of the boys gathered at the top of the stairs watching the whole thing and as I noticed it was Sean who had shouted.

They all started laughing and cheering as my cheeks went bright red. We both let out a laugh off humiliation as I buried my face in Charlie's chest.

"You finally made your move... took you long enough!" Gabe said to Charlie as they all made their way down the stairs causing everyone to laugh again.

The rest of the guys made their way into the front room since they now felt wide awake, leaving us to in the hallway yet again.

"I think this is the best time to talk to you, Taya..." Charlie told me with a. serious expression on his face.

I nodded slowly and took his hand which he was holding out before he led me upstairs to his bedroom.

We both sat opposite each other on his bed with our legs crossed, like we had done earlier on.

"Taya, there's something I need to tell you and it's probably obvious but I feel like now is the best time to say it beca-" he began to ramble before I cut him off.

"Just get on with it!" I laughed, causing him to laugh too.

"I really, really like you Taya... and it's not just an immature little crush, I know it's not! Because I feel so differently about you than I have to anyone else before. Every time I'm with you I get butterflies in my stomach, all you have to do is walk in the room and my brain becomes a mess. When I thought you were with Liam, I decided to spend that time trying to not like you since you'd never like me back but it just made me realise how much I do like you and how much I do need you in my life. Taya, you're beautiful, funny, smart, talented and I'm head over heels for you. That kiss felt amazing. As soon as our lips touched, it felt right. Now, I know I sound crazy when I'm saying all of this but please believe when I tell you that I like you so damn much that I can't even think straight" he told me, having to catch his breathe at the end.

I was completely silent.

I knew I wanted to just kiss him again and tell him I have felt the same all along, but something was stopping me. As much as I wanted to say it back, it felt like my voice had stopped working and had completely given up.

He looked away shyly after realising I wasn't answering.

"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said that. It was probably the wrong time-" Charlie began, looking around the room, trying to find something else to distract himself with.

"Charlie..." I began as he quickly turned his attention back to me. "Of course I like you back-"

"You do?" He asked as he began to smile.

"But, I think I need time to myself so I can think over things...I'm so sorry" I told him as I felt the tears begin to form  in my eyes, though I made sure he couldn't see.

"Okay...take as long as you need" Charlie told me as sadness filled his voice.

And with that I stood up and left his bedroom.

Taya needs time to think...what could that mean? Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this chapter!

QOTC: have you ever been noticed by the boys on social media, if so when and why?
