I finally arrived at the airport and with every step, my nerves grew and grew. He told me he woud text me as soon as he landed, so now all I was waiting on was that text.

I found a seat very near to the gate he would be coming out of and had my eyes fixed on the exit. Every now and then, I would check the time. According to my phone it was currently 15:37 which meant he would be arriving in around four minutes if the plane was on time. My excitement was too much to contain and I couldn't stop smiling.

I was about to meet my best friend. The person who can make me smile no matter what. The person who got me through the hardest of times. The person who didn't give up on me even when I was ready to give up on myself. He's my angel and I couldnt be more thankful to have such an amazing best friend.

I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard a lady's voice coming through the speaker announcing that "flight 407 will be arriving shortly". That's Trevors flight!

I checked my phone yet again to see that it was now 15:40, meaning he is expected to land in roughly 1 minute.

The excitement along with nerves began to build up again and the uncontrollable smile returned.

To my right, there was a large wall made entirely out of glass so I was able to see planes landing and taking off. Just as I looked out of the window, I noticed a plane landing on the runway folllowed by the same lady announcing "flight 407 passengers will be unboarding very shortly" suggesting that was in fact Trevor's plane.

After another minutes wait which seem liked forever, I began to get a call from that all too familiar contact 'emo best friend'.  My heart began to race as I quickly answered the phone.

"Hello!" I said, smiling.

"Taya, I'm here! We've landed! Where are you?" He said, excitement clear in his voice.

"Just walk straight out of the gate and-"

I didn't even get to finish my sentence when I saw a tall dark-haired boy running towards me with the biggest smile on his face.

"Trevor!" I screeched as I ran towards him as well, egulfing each other in a massive hug.

My whole world felt complete. It was as if this hug was all I needed to be fixed. Trevor fixed me.

After a long hug, we both pulled away looking at each other with disbelief. We both had the goofiest smiles on our faces but we didn't have a care in the world. We hugged one more time, rocking side to side whilst in each others arms before one of us eventually spoke up.

"This doesn't feel real!" I said through the tears that were now running down my face.

"It doesn't! I can't believe it!" he said, as I could see a few tears starting to form in his eyes.

We both laughed at each other before Trevor gestured to his friend who was currently standing beside him, filmimg us both.

"Oh, Taya this is Liam. Liam this is Taya" he said.

"Hi, nice to meet you!" Liam said to me as he leaned forward to hug me.

"nice meeting you too! I love your accent" I replied, hugging him back.

"I was about to say the same!" he laughed.

"Okay guys, stop flirting..." Trevor said sarcastically, follwed by a small laugh as he gripped the ends of his sleeves in his hands.

We all laughed before I suggested that we head to the new house to meet up with the rest of the boys.

They followed close behind me, making sure to not get lost.

After the short tube journey to the train station then the 10 minutes train journey, we finally arrived at the house. Since the house was in a different part of London to where I'm from, the house is about an hours journey away from mine so we decided that I would spend tonight at the band house since it's mine and Trevor's first time meeting. My mum was okay with me doing this and so were the rest of the boys.

When we arrived at the front door, I stood to the side of Trevor. When the door eventually opened, a short blonde haired boy appeared on the other side. He had a nose-ring and was wearing a leather jacket.

"THEY'RE HERE" he shouted as excitement filled his voice.

Within seconds, two more boys came sprinting to the door to greet Trevor, Liam and I. I laughed at all of their reactions before walking in after the boys and saying hello to each of them.

Before I could introduce myself, Trevor spoke up "Guys, this is Taya. Taya this is Sean, Charlie and Gabe" he began, pointing at each of the boys as he said their names "be nice to her, she's like my little sister"

"Hiya, nice to meet you all" I laughed, hugging each of the boys. "And hey! I'm only a year younger than you!" I stated, acting offended.

"Me too, are you 16?" One of the boys spoke up who I recognised as Charlie.

"aw cool, yeah I am" I said awkwardly, finding it hard to believe that he actually had to ask if I was 16 considering I just said I was a year younger than Trevor...

I brushed it off, finding the situation quite funny and followed the boys into the living room.

After Sean made me a cup of tea, both of the boys were shown to their new bed rooms whilst I waited downstairs.

Gabe decided to stay also since he's already seen the rooms.

"so Taya, what's it like living in London?" he asked.

"um...it's pretty good. I mean all of my favourite bands play in London so it's easy for concerts. But at the same time, it's sometimes too busy" I stated.

Gabe gave me a look of understanding and nodded.

"You're from Sweden, right?" I asked.

"Yes, I am" he smiled.

"What's it like there?" I asked, intrigued as to what he thinks of it.

Gabe and I spoke for a while whilst we waited for the boys to get back. We each gradually got to know quite a bit about the other and I found out that Gabe is actually a genuinely nice guy. Great listener too.

Half-way through telling Gabe how me and Trevor became friends, the boys came back.

"Speaking about me again?" Trevor asked cheekily, poking his tongue out at me.

"Well of course, my life does revolve around you..." I replied sarcastically, returning the gesture.

As the evening carried on, I got to know the boys very well and would now consider them as friends. They each have such different personalities which makes their friendship work brilliantly as a whole.
I'm so lucky to be apart of that.
