Shiitake mushrooms. I unintentionally let my guard down. Hanji leaned on the wall next to me.

I let out a nervous laugh, "Oops. Looks like I let my guard down."

"Cut the crap, you didn't answer my question. Where have you been all these years?" Levi growled. Hanji turned her face towards me, the light reflecting off one of her eyes.

"That answer..." I began.

"...is classified?" Hanji finished with a dull look on her face.

"No." I said, closing my eyes, "the answer lies with Erwin. If you want to know, get it out of him."

"Tch. You understand that I am your superior now?"

"Of course." I opened my eyes, "But you do realize I could break your ribcage at this very moment. Not to mention my squad has probably realized I'm missing. Alastair could probably snap your foot. The one that isn't broken, that is." I smirked as he clenched his teeth.

"It took us a long time to get over your death, and now you're back with just a laugh? Sure, perhaps Erwin accepts you, but you're still stubborn. I don't get it. Although, we know you're hiding a few things from us, including Erwin. For one, what's under this eyepatch?" He stretched his hand out towards it.

"No." I slapped it away, causing it to swell slightly. "It's just a physical injury. But you will not touch it. I swear."

"Tch." Levi shook his hand, placing it back on my shoulder, "Then tell me why your eyecolor has changed as well."

Dang it, I knew they would've noticed. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Stop playing clueless." Hanji hissed, "You're great at most things, but lying isn't one of your special abilities. You might as well tell us the answer to the first question."

"I infiltrated the government. Successfully. That is all. Now please move out of the way."

"You know it's going to be tough to be accepted again?" Hanji sighed. I nodded. Levi loosened his grip on my shoulders.

"Tempest." Naomi stood in the doorway, "We should go retrieve our belongings."

"Of course." I shoved past Levi, not giving him a second glance. Sadly, he ripped off my eyepatch. I crumbled to the floor like Wall Maria.

"Are you all right?" We headed to the stables that held our horses.

"Yes, I'm completely fine." I looked up at the beautiful night sky. The stars glittered fancily, and I loved to imagine each of them were my dead comrades. We grabbed our suitcases off our tired horses.

"Easy Snowflake." I knew it was an unoriginal name for a white mare, but I loved it. It made me feel normal. I stroked her nose for awhile, then silently headed back to our old home.
