The Female Titan, Pt. 3

"Incredible.." I whispered, "So that's how they look like and transform. Interesting." I flinched, slightly bending over my bleeding stomach.

"Are you all right? Do you need some bandages?" Naomi asked, placing her hand on my back.

"No, no. We must witness this crucial event. Let's go." I revealed my untouched 3DMG, grappling onto buildings and flying like a hawk stalking it's dinner. "Split up. Do not follow in a line."

"They're quick. I can't believe they're using the same amount of gas as us, maybe even less." Armin whispered, trying to keep up.

"Yeah. No wonder why her squad's never died." Jean lagged a bit, "Even Levi would have to try hard to keep up."

I looked behind me, seeing that Jean and Armin were getting farther away from us, "Are you all right? Should we slow down?" I called back.

"It's fine! You need to go on ahead. Eren probably needs you more than we do!" Armin answered.

"We're picking up the pace then." Eren and Annie came into view, and we witnessed something incredible. She hardened her femur, then struck a blow to Eren's head, which slammed his whole body into a building. I hoped that no civilians were inside. Annie began to pound on his head, and seeing our squad, she decided to run, heading towards the wall.

"She's going to scale it. Chase her down." Naomi and Alastair rushed forward, immediately cutting her feet off. They heard Eren's roar and fell back, right when he tackled her. He grabbed her face, squeezing it until she started screaming, an eyeball popping. Blood gushed everywhere, and I felt slight pity for her. She must be in so much pain. Annie shook him off, regenerating a foot, and made her way to the wall. She hardened her fingers and attempted to scale it. This time, her other foot regenerated, giving something Eren to cling onto. She pushed him off along with the leg, now desperately climbing the massive structure.

"She's getting away!" Armin landed on my building.

"I'm not going to let her. Axel, Naomi."

They flew off, easily reaching her height with Mikasa right behind them. Naomi went for the left hand, while Axel went for the right. They're a tiny bit slower. It won't affect much, but still..

"Annie. Fall." Mikasa stood on her forehead, pushing her off with her feet. Annie plunged to the ground, straight to an awaiting Eren. He immediately pinned her to the ground and ripped off all her limbs, including the head. Eren looked as if he was about to eat her, nearing the nape with his teeth.

"Eren, no!" Hanji screamed.

He ripped off the top of the nape, revealing Annie, tears streaming down her face. Eren hesitated. A blue glow blinded us, transparent stone encrusting Annie. He leaned forward, and was for sure about to eat her when Levi, in a flash and out of nowhere, sliced his nape open and removed him. "It's not a good idea to eat our key evidence, you idiot."

I felt my heart skip a beat. Oh shit. I haven't ever felt this since that day. I clutched the shirt above my heart area tightly. I stared at Levi, who felt my gaze and met it with his.

"You're looking at me as if you just saw Wall Sheena fall. What do you want?" He grumbled.

"What the hell were you thinking?" I scowled, my head bowed, "You sprained your foot. How are you able to move like that?! You could've gotten something else injured, or maybe worsened the sprain."

Levi stared at me in shock because of my sudden outburst, I looked up, "But.. your skills have improved by a tremendous extent." My hand fell.

"Tch. I wish I could say the same for you and your team. I think this is the first time I've seen you with more than a scratch or bruise. Go get some bandages."

I gawked, but not because of him. Most of the Survey Corps had seen it.

"...Tempest?" Alastair came up behind me, "What is that?" He pointed his finger to a breach in the wall.

"Alastair.. That's exactly what it looks like. A Titan."
