>>Hello fellow readers! Just to let you know, I'm finally out of school! Just so you know, this was posted around 1, so yeah, I'm sorry if it's short, I'm incredibly tired. I'll post another one today. Also, I'll be posting more often, and I can't wait for more people to read this! I realized this book isn't going as good as my other Levi fanfic, but I'll just keep trying for the readers that do like this book. Anyways, that's all I have to say, so enjoy reading!<<

My horse stood alongside Erwin's, preparing for the gate to open.

"Tsk. How long does it take to kill a Titan with cannon fire?" I muttered impatiently.

"Bloodthirsty?" He asked, "If I had known better, I would say you'd jump over the wall and kill every Titan in sight right about now."

"I might as well dish out what I can while my blood's still boiling."

"Really?" Hanji moved forward, closer to me, "Do you mind if I watch you closely?"

I sighed, "Are you sure you're focusing on me and not the Titan I'm about to kill?"

She chuckled, "Of course I'm focusing on the Titan silly!"

Hanji slapped my back, sending a shiver down my spine, "I swear Hanji. Stop pushing pressure points."

"But you told me to use them when I can!" She mocked, blushing.

"What are you blushing for?" I muttered.

"I'm just remembering the good old days when you were in your generous mood!" She sighed thoughtfully.

"Generous? Do you mean when I trained you? God, I had no idea you'd turn out like this."

"Oh that generosity! I could feel your kindness coursing through my veins like a happy abnormal!"

I rolled my eyes as Commander Keith yelled, "The gates are rising! May the 34th Expedition commence!"

We rode onto open land as soon as we passed through the gates. I glanced behind me, seeing Isabel, Levi, and Farlan riding side-by-side. Isabel was looking up at the sky in awe.

"Not bad." I heard Levi murmur. I rolled my eyes. I knew they came from the cave, but they seemed like newborn children to me.

"All right. Split into the groups you were assigned to! Titans should be approaching any second!" Erwin ordered.

I flicked my wrists up and down, making my horse meet up with Erwin's.

"Tempest. I have a question."

"What is it?"

"When are you going to pick another member? I feel as if your squad's lacking in numbers."

"Axel, Naomi, and Alastair are fine. I'm not bringing in anymore members unless I deem it necessary."

"So many have been put through your grueling trials, but only those three really exceeded your expectation?"

"It's not that they exceeded it. I just saw potential. They're like pieces of a huge puzzle. If you put two and two together, they're important. A lone piece won't do any good. They're all compatible with each other, and I can't imagine introducing a new person yet."

"It's because you trust them to live, correct?"

"That amongst other things."

"I see."
