>>You guys were probably wondering, why didn't you post a chapter yesterday??? Well, actually, I kinda did. Except I put it on last chapter. Last chapter was really short, like 400 words, so I decided to add onto it instead of making a new chapter, cuz that's just kinda stupid. Anyways, that's all I have to say, so enjoy reading!<<

"Hang on, guys!" Eren bunched us together in his arms as he bit his hand. We waited, eyes closed. To our demise, nothing happened. We looked up.

"Eren, what's wrong?" Armin stared at him.

"I-I don't know. Damn it, of all times!" He hissed.

"You have to have a clear goal in your mind, right?" I pitched in.

"Or is there something holding you back?" Mikasa glared at him dead on, "Is it that.. you have some feelings left for Annie?" She growled like a predator, stalking prey.

"It's not... it's not that..." Eren croaked.

I blinked indifferently, moving out of his reach. I knew that Eren couldn't do it, so I decided on thinking up ways to get out of here. Mikasa bullied him, trying to get him to change.

"Guys. I have a plan." Armin spoke up.

"Hmm?" I glanced at his determined gaze, "Mikasa will head one entrance and I'll head the other. She'll have to pick one of us, so when she does Eren, you go the opposite way. Tempest will stay with you just incase she picks neither and guesses our current location."

"I swear, you're going to be Erwin Smith the 2nd. Even your first names sound alike. All right, I'll go with your plan."

Mikasa nodded, agreeing with me.

"How are you able to fight still?" Eren gaped, "You'll get yourself killed!"

"What choice do we have?" Mikasa responded, parting ways with Eren, "The world is a cruel place."

Indeed, it is.

"It's just us." I sighed, leaning against the wall, "I won't say this isn't your fault. Actually, this is entirely your fault."

He stared at me with disbelief, "Do you want me to say it's not? Do you even believe it? What if you could change right now, and have your childhood friends survive?" I kneeled down next to him. Eren trembled slightly, "To protect humanity from monsters, you have to lose your own humanity. I've learned that since the first time I saw a Titan. Eren, do you understand what I'm saying?"

He nodded slowly, and I felt a slight quake coming from above. I groaned, "This is where we part ways. Mind you, I'm going to be in very much pain." I took him by the collar, literally chucking him across the tunnel where Armin headed out of. I winked as I felt myself being buried in rock.

~~Eren's P.O.V.~~

"Tempest!" I shrieked. The roof caved in.

Wh-what the hell?!

"Eren! What happened?" Armin came up beside me.

"Annie guessed where our location was, so Tempest had to throw me out of the way. She took the blow. Help me get her out!" I rushed over along with Armin.

Jean zipped down, "Hey, what's going on here?" Axel, Naomi, and Alastair all appeared alongside him.

"Tempest is buried under these rocks!" Armin answered.

"Really." Naomi said dully, and they glanced back at her, "She played hero again, didn't she?"

"...What?"

"If I were Tempest..." Axel muttered, gazing around the rocks, "I would hide... here!" He pointed to a weak stone slab.

Alastair went over, uncovering a bruised and slightly bloodied Tempest.

"Uugghh..." Tempest crawled out and hissed, "Sunlight."

Jean, Armin, and Eren all gaped, "Eeehhhh???!!"

"Oh, did I forget to tell you that I can analyze any structure?" She grinned like Hanji, just three times worse.

~~Tempest's P.O.V.~~

"We better get going." I sighed, brushing off dust particles.

"Did you over analyze?" Alastair asked.

"Yeah.. I wasn't able to measure how forceful the impact was, mostly because I'm out of practice. Eren. Are you okay?" I looked over at him, who was staring at me wide-eyed.

"Y-you're amazing.." He and Armin stammered.

I waved it off like it was nothing, "Eren. Was that very shocking? Did you feel insanely guilty?"

He nodded slowly. "What if I was Mikasa? Or Armin? Or even you? Do you finally see who the real enemy is here?"

"Yes..." Eren murmured, "I do." He stepped out onto the road, a thunderbolt crashing down upon us.
