I woke up feeling gross. An alarm was going off somewhere, though I couldn't figure out where.

"Goddamnit, shut that thing off." I heard Raven call. A few seconds later, xe said, "Syany! Shut it off!"

"I don't have it!" I called back, confused.

"Ow, gods fuck." I heard Moxy fall out of the bunk. The alarm suddenly shut off. "Gods, Syany, maybe you should keep this on your wrist." Moxy threw the watch thing back up to me. "It was under the bunk."

"Oh."

"Shit, we should probably get to the Dining Hall before the crowd gets bad." I heard Izzy say.

"Ah, gods, okay." Everyone began scrambling to get dressed, but I was still fuzzy.

"I'm gonna shower." I said, finally pulling myself out of bed.

"You're not going to eat breakfast?" Lucy asked.

"There's still cheerios around here somewhere." Moxy suggested, looking at me concernedly. "Or I could bring you back something." She offered.

"Oh, thanks, um, I dunno bring me whatever you choose to have I guess and grab me a coffee please?" I said gratefully. By the time I had gotten my clothes together to get in the bathroom, they had all already gone.

The shower was nice, and I sat on the weird chair so I wouldn't have to stand on my aching legs, though I was getting used to the muscle pain. By the time I was done, my muscles felt a bit better and my joints had loosened up a bit. I combed my hair and brushed my teeth, getting ready for the day before going back out into the cabin. No one was back left so I found the itinerary for the day and looked it over. There were many breaks, and the day started in about two hours with an exercise session. Swimming was recommended, something about building up strength without putting too much stress or pressure on the body. After the exercise session, which lasted about two hours, was lunch, which lasted an hour and a half. Then there was a break of an hour. Then there was a recommendation to attend the first tech class or the first culture class which would last two hours, but that wasn't required. I decided I wanted to go to the culture class, they sounded interesting but I hoped they spoke about cultures of other places and that things weren't the same in every jurisdiction. After that, there was a meeting about clubs that was required that would last about half an hour with an hour and a half being set aside afterwards to explore the different types of clubs and pick a few. There was another break, this one half an hour, then a half hour meeting about chores and when the time would be switched and how that would work, then dinner would be served from seven-thirty to nine, the time from seven-thirty to lights out at ten it was suggested that people explore the camp more, and there would be certain activities open if people got bored. When I finished reading, I put the schedule back where I had found it on Raven's dresser and pulled out my MusicScape, exploring more of the music that I recognized and taking the time to read which century it had come from.

Soon enough, the group arrived and Moxy dropped a take-out container at my feet.

"Sorry it took so long, I made them stop at the camp store so I could grab some alcohol swabs." Moxy said.

"What for?" I asked confused as Izzy shook her head at Moxy's back.

"So I can start with the piercings. What did you think I made you get that needle for? By the way, your breakfast is a vegan chocolate croissant, I think. That's what they said it was anyways."

"Uh, thanks." She sat down next to me and started eating, so I followed suit.

"Why do they give us so long to eat breakfast?" Lacy asked, seeing the schedule.
