It's not game, It's War.

I slowly open my eyes and lift my head off my... notebook?

I never thought I could get up so fast in my life. My heart beat is accelerating and I'm moving around like a mad woman.

Problem number one: I woke up late and I only have 20 minutes to get out of the house and to school.

Problem number two: I did not finish my English essay and I have to do it now or I get an F.

Problem number three: I don't have time to do much, so I have to stop listing my problems and move!

I change into jeans and a sweatshirt and put my hair into a messy bun. I do not have time to look like I just stepped out of a fashion magazine.

I finished getting ready and scribble down the rest of my essay. I only had like 10 more sentences so I didn't have to do much.

I slip on my converse and run down the stairs.

"Ava, you don't have to take Lucas to school as I can see your running late." My mom says casually drinking her coffee.

"Ya, thanks, mum." I say as I look at my phone.

I don't know how it's possible but my heart rate picks up even more. I have to be at school in 5 minutes. I can't walk so I grab my skateboard.

I try to ignore empty feeling in my stomach where food is supposed to be and say goodbye to my mom, leaving the house not waiting for her reply.

I know it's not the most glamorous thing to be riding a skateboard to school, but I really don't care anymore. I get to school, surprisingly fast and I am just on time.

I walk into the school to find an angry Emma and Abby.

"Uh, hey guys..." I say, not knowing what to say.

"Come with us." Emma says, grabbing my wrist and ignoring my hello.

We walk to our lockers and I try my best not to scream.

I find about 300 locks, attached to eachother, locking all three of our lockers shut.

I don't know if I should scream, or laugh. But looking at my friends faces, I decide on not laughing.

"So this is Aarons revenge?" I ask, cautiously.

"Yep. Apparently." Emma says.

"Wow, I thought he could do better than this." Abby said, shaking her head.

My attention goes over to my locker that has a note attached to it.

"Just trying to protect your stuff! Better safe than sorry!" -A

That last part just reminded me of Pretty Little Liars. I love the show and all but it's like season 7 and they still don't know who 'A' is.

"Wait! I thought he was just getting revenge on me! Not you guys!" I said, relizing that he brought Emma and Abby into this. "I'm sorry, guys."

"It's okay, I just hope we can get all these locks open by 3rd period." Abby said, motioning to the lockers.

Wait, What! That little brat is going to make me miss my classes! This is not how I want to start the school year. Luckily, I don't need any of my books now. So we decided to open them later.

"Oh, Aaron. If only you knew that I don't give up that easily. This isn't a game anymore... it's war."

I can't help but feel Aarons gaze on my back. Oh, did I ever mention that he is in my English class. I have never noticed him before. Well, it's not that I never noticed, it's just that he didn't show up to class.

"Avalon." Mrs. Jones says.

I snap out of my daze and realize that I have no idea what she just aked me to do.

"Um, yes?"

"Your essay, it's your turn to read it to the class." Mrs. Jones said.

"Oh." I say struggling to open my notebook.

As I walk up to the front of the room, I remember the lesson is about technology.

I clear my throat and begin.

"Technology has come a long way, and we are obsessed with it. I believe that technology has a bad affect on us because we can't control ourselves. One minute we are just checking the time, and one thing comes after the other and we spend hours on it."

"We take all the things we have for granted and we don't think of anything else. Soon technology will lead to garbage and pollution. Next, we will have robots doing everything for us, and we will do nothing for ourselves. We will become fat and lazy and we even have a movie demonstrating that for us." I say referring to Wall-E.

"Sounds like a pretty bad future for us right? If you want to change it then plant a tree! Or even better, look up from your screen and do something big." I finish, looking at Aaron, who is currently looking down at his phone. Once I say that he looks up at me.

I smirk at him and everyone claps like they've gone insane. I even hear a few people say 'Ya, Ava!'

I sit back down and Aaron is still looking at me.

I feel like I've achived something and I don't even know what it is.

The rest of my morning classes went by fast. Emma, Abby, and I are currently walking into the cafeteria. We got our lunches and sat at our usual table.

"Oh I got it!" Abby yelled. "We put fake spiders in his bookbag."

"Uh, no." Emma cut in. "We put explosives in his bookbag."

"Okay, we can't do anything that big, but we have to do a step up from what he did." I say.

"We put a kick me sign on his back?" Abby suggests.

Suddenly, I came up with the most amazing idea ever.

"So, Aaron usually has the all black look right?" I ask them with an evil smile creeping on my face.

"Yeah..." Abby says, unsure of what I'm going to say.

"Well, I think he needs a little color." I say with the evil smile on full display.

Abby and Emma look at each other. Still unsure of what I'm talking about.

"What do you mean?" Emma asked.

"After school, we are going to over flow Aarons locker with a bunch of colorful... Orbeez."
