I walk with confident strides as all three of us walk down the hallway. As we walk by I hear everyone talking about the football game tomorrow.
I have to admit I am really excited and nervous. I don't have anything to be nervous about. I've done this before, it's just like every other game.
We reach out lockers and I open mine to be met with an explosion of color. I squinted my eyes shut and spit some of the color out of my mouth. I wipe my eyes and realize that the explosion of color, was an explosion of glitter. Only one thing came to my mind.
Aaron is going to die.
I turn to see Emma and Abby with shocked faces and just laughing at me. I groan and try to wipe the stupid glitter from my face.
I turn around to look for satin reincarnated. I stop when I see his stupid smirking face by his locker. I storm over and threw my hands in the air.
"What the hell man!"
"Hey, you should be thanking me. You look dazziling." He said with his smirk growing.
"I thought you wern't going to do anything." I said growing slightly calmer.
"That was before, and I can't let you get away with what you did to me. But this looks really good on you, it's an Aaron original." He said praising himself.
I give him a glare before stomping away. If this is going to be a reguar thing with us, then I got to get used to this.
I went back to my locker and slammed it shut. I walked at a fast pace to the bathroom with Emma and Abby following close behind.

It's now lunch and I am still pissed about the glitter stuck in my hair. I should have seen it coming though, I did say that we started a war.
"Stupid Aaron. Putting glitter in my locker, making it explode all over me, getting in my hair, making me grumble to myself." I said quietly.
"Oh, Ava. You don't know what you just started." Abby said.
"You are going to get back at him right?" Emma asked.
"Of course!" I say without hesitation. "I just need a good idea."
"You mean we need a good idea." Abby said.
"I don't want to get you guys involved with this." I say.
"But we already are, someone who messes with you, messes with all of us." Emma said.
I just smiled in return. How did I get so lucky to have these friends.

The word love can't even describe how I feel about our cheerleading routine. I am just amazed by our stunts, our flips, the cheers, the music. When we go to competitions we are so gonna win.
"Okay guys the routine looks great. Keep up that energy for tomorrows home game and for some upcoming competitions." Mia said as everyone started to pack up.
"See ya tomorrow Em?" I ask.
"Yeah, but what's the hurry?" She asked.
"Oh, I got to meet Chase for a math project." I say as Emma wriggles her eyebrows.
"Em, it's not like that." I say while forcing the blush back.
"Okayy, but make sure you guys actually study and nothing else."
I shot my head up in her direction with wide eyes.
"Kidding." She said.
I rolled my eyes and waved bye to her. I walked out to the parking lot to see Chase leaning against his car scrolling through his phone. Once he noticed my presence he smiled.
"Ready, loser?" He said playfully.
I put my hands on my hips and raised an eyebrow.
"I'll take that as a yes." He said and got in the drivers side of the car.
I rolled my eyes and got in. It was a short drive to his house while we talked about the game.
"Are you nervous?" I asked.
"Me? Nervous? Please," Chase replied as we pulled into his driveway.
"Well, someones got a big ego." I said as I took off my seatbelt.
"Yes I do. My ego is almost as big as my-"
"Okay! Let's go." I cut him off.
He chuckled and got out. We walked up to his house and he opened the door. I walked in and took in the room. It was actually really nice. There was family photos everywhere and the smell of vinilla just made the house feel warm and cozy.
"Welcome to mi casa! Make yourself at home and we can work in here." He said closing the door.
I nodded and set my bookbag down. We both sat on the couch and got to work. Our project is supposed to be to find at least 10 true facts about algebra. I was surprised as to why the project was so easy but I figured it was because it's still the beginning of the year and they get harder as the year goes on.
We did some research and about 2 hours later, we were almost done. It was already 7:45 and we decided to call it a day. I started to put my books away until I heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs.
I turned my attention towards it to see a tall, dark haired boy heading into the kitchen.
"Mason, we have no Froot Loops if that's what you're looking for." Chase said not even looking up from his books.
"What the hell! What's wrong with people these days, eating all my cereal." Mason said.
"Mom's going to the store today so you can calm your-" Chase said before getting cut off by me hitting him in the arm. He just put a hand over his heart like he was hurt.
"So I'll see ya tomorrow." I said while picking up my bag and slinging it over my shoulder.
"You don't think your walking home from here do you?" He said with an eyebrow raised.
"Well, yeah. My house is not that far from here. It's actually only 2 blocks away,"
"Avalon, it's almost eight o'clock. I'm not letting you walk home alone." He said grabbing his keys.
"I'm touched that you care." I said putting a hand over my heart just like he did.
"Well I consider you as my friend." He said opening the door.
I smiled. "You know you can just call me Ava right?"
"Why change?" He asked as we walked out to his car.
"Well only my friends call me Ava, and you're my friend now." I said as we both got in.
"Okay, Ava." He said looking at me with those peircing green eyes. I kind of love the way my name sounds coming from him.
We drove in comfortable silence and when we pulled in my driveway I thanked him and got out. I walked to my front door and opened it with my keys and waved to him one last time.
He waved back and pulled out. I walked in and was not expecting what I saw.
There was trains and other toys scattered everywhere. I looked around more and just saw a complete mess. I saw Lucas run in the livingroom followed by Max and Vanessa. They looked crazy and wild.
My mom soon came running in and begged for them to calm down. She gave me a look which meant 'come here now and help me with these animals.'
I immediatly came in, shut the door and went over to the kids. Somehow Max and Lucas ended up wrestling and I tried to grab Lucas just to be kicked in the face.
Okay, this is going to be a long night.
