I woke up and sleepily rolled over to find Alex no longer there. I frowned and blinked my eyes open to see a note that said he had left with Blake and Lexi. He reminded me about the children and I shot out of bed. I winced as a sharp pain shot through my back and a hot blush covered my face at the thought of what had happened last night.

I pulled some pajama and one of Alex's shirts on before padding down the stairs. For the remainder of the day, I ran around and played with the children. They eventually wanted to play without Uncle Xander, so I cleaned the house for Lexi and Blake. I dusted, swept, vacuumed, and mopped the various surfaces.

I got more and more tired, but cooked dinner for the kids before sending them to bed. I curled up on the couch with a relaxed glow surrounding me. My mind focused on the absolutely amazing thing that Alex had made me feel last night. Such pleasure was indescribable. I had never believed I could willingly do that with another person without fear.

I fell asleep while contemplating my mysterious emotions. I eventually felt the warmth of Alex's muscular arms surrounding me when he carried me upstairs. My eyes fluttered open to see his toned stomach underneath me. His dark blue eyes stared down at me. His hand was filled with cash that he was gesturing for me to take, which I hesitantly did.

"Blake paid you for babysitting," His deep voice said.

Alex gently moved me off of him. I looked up at him with confusion. I just wanted to cuddle with him. I stood up and then pressed a hand to my ribs as a flare of pain shot through my sides like a knife. My ribs still hurt sometimes. He put his arm around me and waited for the pain to fade away before slowly walking me downstairs.

"There's something that I want you to see," Alex told me.

I stopped short at the bottom of the stairs and looked around the living room in surprise. Shock filled me I looked up at Alex, who gestured for me to continue to the room. What was this?
