It's 4:30 and I've just reached the park. Lmao, I'm too excited, I guess. I mope around the park and play with this stray cat. I see some cotton candy in the sky, definitely Xander. I walk towards him, and pretend to bump into him.
"Oh, hii Olivia!"
"Heyy, Xander! Of all the people in the world, I did not expect you to be here."
"Ahh, I'm just here because of someone else."
Xander smiles.
"I bet that someone is pretty af."
"Yeah, yeah she is."
"Well, I hope you guys have fun."
"Thanks. You're really nice. We need to hangout. I feel like we could be great friends."
I just realise that I've been friendzoned but yess. He lowkey asked me out. Not exactly, but I guess that'll work for now.
"Hey, can I have your number?"
"Yeah, sure."
I'm so glad he didn't turn down my request for his number. Just as he's typing his number in my phone, Jane comes along.
"Oh heyy Jane!" We both greeted her in unison. We laugh.
"Jinx! Now you owe me a drink."
"Fine, fine. I'll get you one in the near future."
Jane seems a little pissed. Mission accomplished.
