Part 14 - Niall

"Niall I want to touch you, I want to make you feel good" Rae's voice came off shaky but my hands stopped moving from her hair to her arms. Of course I wanted her to touch me but I knew she had experience, what if I was unusual or there was something weird about it that would make her not want to talk to me, I mean it looks fine to me but to a girl who has seen a fair few would she think it was too small? Not the right colour? Not thick enough?
The way her lips came to a halt on my neck I think she released I was over thinking things, her eyes met mine as she breathed a sigh
"What's wrong did I do something wrong?" she asked immediately knowing that something was up but I didn't want her thinking she had done anything she hadn't. "No you did nothing it's just I'm erm nervous" I stuttered moving myself off of Rae as I looked at my lap removing my vision noticing the formed boner in my trousers.

After cleaning myself off and changing into a new pair of boxers and jogging bottoms I went back to my room seeing Rae in my clothes however she was only wearing the top I gave her nothing else, her attention was on her phone when I noticed how her eye brows were furrowed together and the crinkles in her forehead were clear, she didn't seem happy about something, I wanted to ask what was wrong but I didn't want to push her into tell me something she didn't want to.
"You okay?" I asked her walking towards my bed where she was sitting, she looked up plastering a fake smile on her lips putting her phone on the pile where her clothes were on the bed
"Fine thanks" if I had learnt anything from having a girl best friend was fine really meant no, something was bothering her but I couldn't bring myself to tell her I knew she was lying.
"Are you sure?"
"Yup, let's watch the movie" she moved herself to the top of the bed resting against the headboard patting the spot next to her for me to join, I guess she had already set up the film whilst I cleaned myself up, as I joined she pressed play proving me right when the film that she picked started playing.
Through most of the film Rae's phone would vibrate but she just pressed the lock screen button on it and then resulted in turning it off, I knew whatever or whoever it was was because she would repeat a set of curse words every time a new text came through. When it came to things like this I wished she was my actual girlfriend because then she would tell me what's wrong but she's not and once again I feel like I can't ask her what's wrong because it's not my place to ask.
The credits on the film had started rolling once Rae had switched her phone of she had rested her head in my lap and stayed quiet for the rest of the time, she hadn't moved since.
"Rae babe are you awake?" I asked not getting any form of reply except her steady breathing, her eyes were fluttered shut which added to my idea that she feel asleep, we were already under the quilt so there was no reason to wake her up, my mum wouldn't mind if she feel asleep here for the night, it's not like anything bad is going to happen. My arms wrapped around her waist as I laid next to her as I felt her hold my hand before I knew it I was drifting off to sleep as well.

I stirred awake, reaching out to hold Rae but she wasn't there, where she lay yesterday was now cold, I opened my eyes looking up, her clothes were still there from yesterday so I guessed she hadn't gone home yet, I still had my jogging bottoms and top on so I climbed from out of the bed and started walking downstairs. I could hear my mum talking and then Rae's laugh. Unintentionally I felt myself smile just hearing that my mum and hopefully future girlfriend were getting along. I walked into the kitchen, Rae was sitting at the island on one of the chairs and my mum was standing against the counter, they both held cups in their hands as they sipped away.
"Morning sweetie" my mum said as I walked into the kitchen pressing a kiss on her forehead
"Morning mum, morning Rae" I walked over to Rae kissing her forehead, I noticed the small smile that played on her lips when I did when I did the little gesture. I also saw the smile that took over my mums face when I did it, I wrapped my arms around the top of her shoulders and rested my head on top of hers.
"So what are you two doing today?" My mum asked us, Rae directed her gaze to me I guess wanting me to answer my mum's question
"Well I have some work to do but I can do that tomorrow if Rae wants to do something else?" I looked down at her as she shrugged her shoulders
"Well some of the family are coming round tonight, you're more than welcome to stay Rae" Mum offered to Rae smiling
"I'd have to talk to my mum and see if she needs me home at all but I'd love to if I haven't got to do anything" something sounded unsure in her voice when she spoke I made sure that I would ask her about that when my mum wasn't in the room.
"That's wonderful sweetie, let me know if you're mum let's you, maybe they could come round another time for a dinner" I hide my head into Rae's neck trying not to laugh at how excited my mum was getting, once she had an idea in her mind there was no stopping her
"I'll be sure to tell her, things are a little hectic at our house at the moment with the baby almost here but once the littlen is here I'm sure my parents will love the idea" I knew Rae felt slightly uncomfortable but she didn't have the heart to tell my mum no not yet
"Oh my a baby! How exciting! how far along is she?"
"Just past seven months I think"
"That's adorable! you could have a little brother or sister? are you excited?"
"Mum calm down, its a little baby not some new found discovery" I piped in trying to signal for my mum to leave I gave her a little nod to the side asking her to go from the room because I wanted a minute alone with Rae.
"Shut it Ni, I'm going to leave you to be whilst I get dressed, see you later kids" she smiled as she walked from the room leaving Rae and I who tried to almost get away from me too
"I really should go get ready" she said when I looked at her with a confused look
"You can go once my mums down"
"I need to get home Niall"
"That's a lie, what's wrong? What has my mum possibly said that's made you want to run" I asked, her just looking down at her hands "Rae tell me"
"She didn't say anything Niall"
"Well something's happened and I want to know what"
"I don't want you to take this the wrong way but I don't want to meet your family Ni, not yet, meeting your parents was different but the rest of the family when we aren't even together, your mums already making a big deal out of things like our parents having dinner together? That's a lovely idea but I don't want that, I don't want for our families to get involved and we get lost in what they want and not what's good for us. I like you Niall I really do but I just think the whole meeting family thing is going way to far, I want to meet them just not yet" she didn't look up through what she was saying her eyes stayed fixed on her hands so I just pulled her into a hug.
"I get it Rae, I don't want you to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing, we can take this as slow as you want, well hopefully not too slow because I really want to kiss you right now" She looked up at me with a small smile arms going to my neck and pulled me down pressing her lips against mine
"It won't be too slow because I can't wait to hear you moan my name again" I caught the cheekiness in her voice as she whispered into my ear the words that only I could possibly hear, so she couldn't see how red my cheeks were going I laughed and kissed her lips, this time I started moving my lips against hers as she slipped her tongue into my mouth tangling it with mine.
