"Why do we train to fight?" I asked Vaughn after eating. Yeah... I ate. Guilt creeped up on me.

"There are other Leads in this state, you know." He answered. Everyone has gone to bed- I regrettably found out earlier that Nolan's bed was next to mine. Geez. Has anyone heard of gender separation?! I mean, if it was Seth's bed that was next to me... wowee. But Nolan? The super attractive, hot, yet arrogant... IDIOT?! Hell no.

"Why do we need to learn how to fight, though." I asked again.

"Well, we tend to avoid with each other, but if there are any territorial issues, or any arguments... it comes in very handy." He smirks at me. "But we've got a great new addition... you, Reia. Forget about the past- your new one has begun." He smiles, then gently pushes me to the Dorms. "Go to sleep. You deserve it."

I happily comply, since, well, where else was I going to go? And I was very tired. There are the Apprentice's Dorms, and the Mentor's Dorms. I can see Venicia's slinky hair just slip behind the doors of the Mentor's Dorms. I go back to the room I woke up from, and walk towards my bed. Everyone's asleep. I was just about to pull the covers over me when a figure appeared infront of me.

I was getting ready for a high-pitched girl scream.

"Chill. Don't scream. I'm just messing with you." Nolan's irritating voice came from the figure. I realized he was on top of me. Uh oh.

"Get off me, pervert." I tried to push him away, but he pressed a little closer. I gasped and froze. He laughed at that. I scowled and demanded that he get off of me. Again. He refused. Ugh!

"I could claw you to shreds." I threatened. He just laughed lightly, and brushed the threat away like it was harmless dust.

"You can be scared so easily. It's quite funny, actually." He smiled, then pressed closer. Really close. I felt all his lean muscles meeting my skin. I felt a tingle throughout my body, and I fought to ignore them.

"That's funny. You like this, don't you?" he smirked, then pressed close so hard I almost couldn't breathe. "There's something about you. Different. Vaughn's never praised anyone like you before. You know what else? They think that you're the best one in this Lead." He said. I started to think he was a nice guy. He was showering me with compliments, and well, I kind of liked that he was on top of me. He looked intensely in my blue eyes with his green-gray ones, and he leaned closer. My heart fluttered, and I tensed, then tilted my lips upward. Then he spoke.

"They're wrong." He whispered.

That sent chills down my spine.

"I'm the one who trains the hardest. The fastest. I'm their strongest fighter. I can handle any weapon. I can make things become any weapon. You and your nails are no chance against me... especially if I have my bow and arrow." He chuckled. I was still shivering from his threat. Then his eyes turned cold, and he released his pressure on me. He cocked an eyebrow. "It's getting late. Goodnight." Then he disappeared into his own bed, the gray curtains separating us floating.
