Chapter 8: I Can't Believe This

Vilu POV

I was at home, my dad and Angie just came back from their business trip and they want to know everything about the new artist. I don't feel like talking about it, every time I think about Tomas I feel anger inside me. This is why I need Leon here beside me, but he's training for the race that is tomorrow.

G: So tell me everything about the new artist, is it a boy or a girl?
V: I don't feel like talking about him. My heart was beating fast at the time, maybe he forgot about Tomas.
A: Come on Vilu, I know you want to, I bet he's handsome. German fake coughs. Sorry.
V: Remember that Leon is my boyfriend, if you really desperate to know then I'll tell you.
G: Ok, carry on.
V: Ok... do you guys remember a certain boy who used to go to the studio a year before Diego who left to go back to his country.
A: Of course I reme... wait, is he the new artist?
V: Yes Angie and I don't know what to do?
A: Will a song help you cheer up a bit?
V: Hopefully, we will see. German sits by the piano and starts playing 'Algo Se Enciende'
A: Did that help?
V: It sure did.
A: So tell me what happened when you bumped into him?
G: Who are you talking about? Who is this guy you're talking about?
A: Do you remember Tomas?
G: Of course I do, but why has he come back?
V: I have a feeling that he came back for me, he said to me that he wrote new songs about someone that is very special to him and he said to me that he's moved on but I know he's lying to me.
G: I always hated that boy.

We was interrupted by the door bell, Angie walked towards the door and Diego and Francesca are outside. They had a nervous look on their face, I have a feeling something is wrong.

A: Fran, Diego, what a surprise what are you doing here?
F: We actually came for Vilu.
D: it's very urgent, we need to talk to her now.
A: Sure she's in the living room.
F: Thank you. We hopefully wont be long.
A: Stay as long as you need. They walked into the living room and sat down opposite Violetta. Me and German will be in the kitchen and we'll leave you alone to chat. Right German!
G: Yeah, of course. German and Angie left.
V: So what's so important for me to know.
D: It's about Tomas.
V: Listen guys I don't want to talk about him anymore, I've had enough of it. I don't even want to hear his name again.
F: Vilu, we discovered something.
V: And what is it you discovered?
F: Diego, you can say it.
D: Me and Fran were walking in the park when we saw Tom... I interrupted him, I swear I don't want to hear his name.
V: Can you not say his name please.
D: Sorry, as I was saying, me and Fran was him talking to Ludmila. We got closer and we heard your name being mentioned.
V: What did he say?
D: I think it's better if listen to it then us explaining it to you.

Fran reached into her pocket and grabbed her phone and I heard them speaking.

L: Are you still in love with Violetta?
T: Of course I am and I never stopped.
L: But you know she's with Leon and nothing can break them apart, they promised each other eternal love forever.
T: I know that she's with Leon and that is why I need your help with a plan to get Violetta and Leon to break up. I know you don't like her.
L: That was 3-4 years ago Tomas, I have changed and I'm not going to hurt my sister.
T: Sister?
L: Long story short, her dad and my mother were married but they broke up from reasons.
T: That makes more sense, but can you please help me?
L: I'm not going to help you with anything Tomas, you're just going to make things worse between them, you already did that when you was in the studio but everyone else will not allow that to happen. And you know what, you haven't changed one bit. I regret ever trying to date you.

I just stared into space. I can't believe what my ears are hearing, I was right all along, this can't be happening to me, first it was him, then Diego, then Clement, why can't me and Leon have some peace in our lives.

F: Vilu, are you alright?
V: Yea... I'm just... speechless, why would he do that?
D: We've been asking each other the same question but all we know is that he wants you back, you must warn Leon, like now.
F: But on the bright side Ludmila was protecting you.
V: That's what sisters are for. But Diego's right I have to call Leon.

I grab my phone and call Leon, I hope he's not still practicing. A second later I hear his charming voice.

Phone Convocation
L: Hi my love.
V:...hey.
L: Is something wrong, you sound upset.
V: Have you finished practicing yet?
L: No but nearly, I can finish early I think you need one of my hugs.
V: How did you know?
L: Because I know you but I'm coming to your house.
V: It's fine, I can wait till you finish.
L: No it's fine, your problem sounds serious and I want to be there to give you all the support I can give you.
V: You know I love you right.
L: But I love you more.
V: Thats impossible.
L: I'll be there in a few minutes.
V: Ok, bye.

I put the phone down and walked back over to Fran and Diego.

V: Can you stay here until Leon comes so we can show him the video he said he's leaving early and he'll be here in a few minutes.
D: Of course we can.
F: We'll do anything for you. We hugged when we heart the door glide open and Leon came towards us. I couldn't be more happy to see him.
L: Is everything ok?
D: I think you should hear this.
L: Guys you're scaring me, what's wrong?
F: See for yourself.

They showed Leon the recording on Frans phone and I could see, in the corner of my eye, the tense in Leon's face. He looked so angry he looked like he was turning into the Hulk. After the recording stopped, there was silence all around. Leon had no words to describe what he just heard. I then felt two strong arms wrap around me. Of course they were Leon's. I broke the silence.
V: What are we going to do Leon? I say on the edge of crying.
L: Everything is going to be ok, remember we promised each other eternal love and we will never break that promise.
V: I love you.
L: I love you too. We were leaning into each other when someone rapidly knocked on the door. I was too scared to open it so I let Diego open it for us. And of course it had to be that jerk face.
D: What are you doing here, you don't deserve to be here.
T: And who might you be?
D: I'm someone who is going to break your neck if you hurt anyone again.
F: Diego, sweety, you don't need to protect Vilu, she's got Leon to do that.
T: Wait Francesca, you're dating him.
F: Yeah, is that a problem?
T: Of course not, congratulations.
L: Don't try to change the subject Tomas, we know everything.
T: I have no idea what you're talking about.
V: Don't act dumb Tomas, I know how you was going to convince Ludmila to break me and Leon apart.
T: Vilu, that's not true.
V: Don't Vilu me, Diego and Fran saw you talking to each other in the park she filmed the whole convocation.
T: I can explain...
V: There's nothing to explain, I never want to see your face again, do you hear me.

I was so frustrated at Tomas, I had to leave the room, so I went up stairs and slammed my bedroom door so the whole house shook. I hat him!

Leon's POV

My anger is rising, when I see Tomas I just want to hit him. I wonder how Vilu is doing, she seems pretty upset and it's all HIS fault.

L: You know you must be glad that I wasn't at the park.
T: And why do you say that?
L: Because if I was there you will never see that light of dawn again. (A/N wow)

I clenched my hands together and I was walking towards Tomas but Fran and Diego pulled me back.

F: We don't want any fights going on, you see how upset Violetta is and if she finds out that you two have been fighting, you're just going to make this situation hard then it already is. Tomas I think it's better if you leave and Leon you should check on Violetta and see if she's ok.
T: Why can't I see her and Leon leaves?
D: Because Leon is her boyfriend, did you hear me 'BOYFRIEND.'
T: Fine I'll leave but this is not over.

What a chapter. Who hates Tomas cause I certainty do. What do you think is going to happen next? Is Tomas going to carry on or will he try to move on? There's so many questions to answer. Reminder that they next chapter will be up by next weekend so stay tuned.

And by the way it feels like I haven't updated a chapter in ages since I and in the middle of exams 😬 but as soon as it is over maybe I will try and upload a few chapters during the week after my exams.
