Chapter 16: Wedding Shopping

Vilu POV

Today I have to go back to work, I've missed a few days of it. The last time I went to work was the day after I broke up with Leon and that was a few days ago, I told my boss that I was ill but really I was too upset to even go to work. The problem with work that the hours are so long and I literally just sit in my desk when there's nothing important. The other problem is Tomas, I'm not too sure if he's actually moving on but let's hope that there's no trouble between us.

I got dressed and went downstairs where everyone was sitting down in the dining room eating breakfast so I decided to join them.

V: Morning guys.
G,A: Morning.
A: It's been a while since we all sat together as a family.
V: Yes it has, I'm sorry that I haven't had time to spend time with you guys, it's just been so busy at work with the new artist.
A: How's it going with Tomas.
V: Well, he admitted he hasn't stopped loving me but I told him that I'm happily in love with Leon so I had to tell him to move on and he said he'll do it.
A: But didn't you and Leon break up?
V: Yeah we did but it was a misunderstanding and everything is back to normal.
G: Since when did you and Leon break up, I told him not to hurt you. Oh next time I see him I will...
V: Dad it was my fault, I never listened to him. Leon didn't do anything wrong.
G: Are you sure?
V: Yes I'm sure, but I have to go or I'll be late.
A,G: Bye Vilu.

I got up from the table and made my way to my car and I started the engine and I was on my way. During the journey I was listening to the Studio On Beat album and I was listening to 'Veo Veo' I couldn't help myself but sing my heart out. It reminds me of the days we were students at the studio, I wish I was a teen again and I could go back to my first year at the studio.

The song finished the same time I entered the car park of the record label. I stopped the engine and I grabbed my bag from the passenger seat and I made my way towards the doors. Of course the first person I see is Tomas and of course he stops what he's doing and walks towards me. Let's see what happens.

T: Morning Vilu.
V: Hi.
T: How've you been. It feels like ages since you been here.
V: Umm, yeah I was just really ill so I didn't come in.
T: Don't lie Violetta, I heard about you and Leon broke up.
V: Were you ease dropping on our convocation?
T: Pffft, no I just overheard you girls talking.
V: That's just the same as ease dropping.
T: Okay, Okay fine I did listen to your Convocation I was just surprised that you guys broke up.
V: We did break up but it was just a misunderstanding and everything is perfect again. If you're thinking of trying to get me back, you're too late.
T: I wasn't thinking that but...
V: I don't even know why I'm telling you all this. Fran was right it is awkward and I do feel uncomfortable when we talk to you.

He was about to say something but I quickly walked away from the convocation. Why didn't I do that before. I arrive in my office and as I was about to sit down my door opened, luckily it was my boss, not Tomas.

B: Good morning Violetta, I see you're feeling better. He said whilst flicking through some paperwork that was on my desk
V: Yes, I feel 100 percent.
B: I've noticed you and the new artist are bonding really well, is there some sort of relationship going on between you two.
V: As a friend, yes. We both joined Studio On Beat, he had feelings for me back then and I was confused because I fell in love with him and another boy.
B: I didn't want to hear the whole story.
V: I'm sorry.
B: What about now?
V: What do you mean?
B: I mean what's your relationship like.
V: Well, I have a boyfriend, we've been together for a year but the first years of the Studio it was an on and off relationship. Why do you ask?
B: Because now I know you two are good friends, I was thinking that you and Tomas would make a great couple.
V: Are you saying that I should date Tomas instead of my boyfriend.
B: Please Violetta, it will be good for the press and hopefully it more artists will join our record label.
V: How is me dating Tomas good for the press?
B: I don't know but I have a feeling deep down that it's a good idea.
V: Are you crazy? I'm not going to do that. Don't you think about other people's feeling for a change. I shouted at him as my body was tending up and my blood was boiling, I was so angry like I was becoming the Incredible Hulk.
B: There's no need for that tone of voice Violetta or I could get you fired.
V: You are not going to fire me.
B: And why is that?
V: Because I quit! I'm not going to work for someone who is an obnoxious, careless human being who only thinks about himself and not others. You are a psychopath.
