Chapter 9: Surprises

Leon POV

So today is the big day, my race is today. I have to say I'm really nervous because I haven't fully trained motor cross in a couple of years. But the best thing is that Vilu will be there to support me and cheer me on. I just love her so much and I just hope that we will be together till the end and no one will break us apart especially Tomas. I hate him so much even thinking about him makes me angry. I'm also nervous about Lara, yes Lara, even though every time I trained at the motor cross track she wasn't there. But what if she show up again. I finally came out of my thoughts when I saw Vilu starting at me.

V: Are you ready, you don't want to be late for your first date.
L: uh...yeah I'm ready.
V: What were you thinking about?
L: Nothing, I'm just nervous cause I haven't raced in a long time.
V: I know you, there's something else in your mind, you can tell me cause I love you.
L: What if someone will try and break us apart, like someone in the past.
V: Listen, Tomas will never do that he doesn't know that you do motor cross.
L: I'm not talking about Tomas, it's Lara. I don't want her to come between us.
V: We haven't seen Lara in two years Leon, she might have moved on with her life and got herself a different job. She won't be there I promise, I'll be there with you the whole time so you don't have to worry.

Maybe she is right. I should just stop worrying and carry on with my life with Vilu. I can always do that. I pull her close to me so our noses touch and I can feel her breath on my neck.

L: You know I love you so much right?
V: That's impossible cause I love you to infinite and beyond.
L: Nothing can ever beat that. I give her a quick kiss on the lips. Even though it was short but it was still full of love. Come on let's go.

We get in the car and drive to the motor cross track. I held Vilus hand throughout the journey and I squeezed it so tight her blood stream must have stopped going to her fingers. I'm just so nervous but excited at the same time. It was a silent journey, it wasn't awkward at all it felt perfect. We arrive at the motor cross track and walk to the entrance hand in hand. I see Andres and some of the gang waiting by the platform where you can watch the race. I'm actually quite surprised that they're here.

L: Why are you guys here?
A: Well Vilu messaged us to come.
M: We thought that you could use more support.
L: Thank you for coming that really means a lot to me that you're here.
B: You shouldn't thank us you should thank Violetta, it was here idea.
L: Thank you my beautiful princess, you don't know how much this means to me.
V: I'll always try and make you happy.

We were leaving in and we were a few centimetres away from each other when someone rudely interrupted us. What's with people trying to ruin my special moment.

??: It's good that you're back Leon.

I turned around and I saw the person that I didn't want here. The person that threatened my beautiful girlfriend to back off and now I cannot even look at that person now.

If you might have guessed it. That person is Lara.

L: What a surprise, what bring me you here.
La: I knew you was racing today so I thought you could use some support.
L: Thanks anyway Lara but I've already got my friends and my beautiful girlfriend to support me.
La: Ok that's fine. I hope you see you later after the race.
L: Sure, see ya.
La: It was nice seeing you again Leon and Violetta.
V: Ok bye.

I saw the look on Vilu's face, I could tell there is anger inside if her. I know how she feels. I wrap my arms around her body and pull her into a tight hug so she knows that everything will be ok and that she is mine forever. I looked at the guys and their faces were priceless, they were speechless. I haven't seen Lara in two years and she then decides to show up. First Tomas and now Lara. It's like the exes are trying to take over the world.
