Chapter 17: New Job, New Start

Vilu POV

Fran and Diego's wedding is in a few weeks and everything is all planned. I have a feeling it's going to be a beautiful wedding. I forgot to mention Fran chose me as her maid of honour and Cami and the others are her bridesmaids. Diego chose Federico as his best man and Leon and Maxi are the ring men. Fran and Diego have both decided to have their wedding on the beach and that just makes it a hundred times perfect apart from the sand entering your shoes and it goes in between your toes and it's so annoying to get rid of the sand but overall it's worth it, but enough with the wedding I am staying round Leon's even though my mum still won't allow it but I made one little white lie and said that I'm staying round Frans, they've been really busy lately and it feels like we haven't spent a lot of time together as a family, it feels like my connection with dad and Angie is moving further and further away and my relationship with them isn't like it was before, now that we've all grown up we should take care of ourselves.

But anyway me and Leon had the place to ourselves we decided to watch the rest of Twilight and we finally made it to Breaking Dawn part 2. I decided to make popcorn for the film so I went into the kitchen. Whilst the popcorn was popping away I felt two strong adds wrap around me from behind and then a soft and gentle kiss in the cheek.

L: Have I told you how beautiful you are when your making popcorn.
V: Come on, I'm not beautiful.
L: Don't say that I think you are the most beautiful girl in the entire universe.

I could feel my cheeks turn red as a tomato. How embarrassing. And of course Leon spotted me blushing

L: Now you're even more beautiful when you blush.
V: Stop it. I playfully hit him on his arm.
L: It smells good by the way.
V: It's just popcorn.
L: I know, but just admit it everyone loves the smell of popcorn.
V: That is true. I give him a peck on the cheek and turn my head back towards the saucepan.
L: I'll be setting up the DVD player whilst you finish of making the popcorn and get the drinks.
V: Sounds like a good plan.

Leon leaves and I just have to wait for a couple more pieces of corn to pop and it will be all done. I went to the cupboard and pulled out a bowl big enough to fit the popcorn. I kind of got carried away with the popcorn making I've made quite a lot. When it has finished popping I placed them in the bowl and got us two cups. There wasn't much drinks in Leon's fridge but there was plenty of soda so I'll just use that. I came back into the living room and I see lighted candles on the coffee table in front of the sofa and all the lights in the house were switched off.

L: I wanted it to be a bit romantic.
V: You are the sweetest guy I've ever met. Because of that I gave him a passionate kiss on the lips.

We sat down on the sofa and we started watching the film. Leon did the yawning technique and wrapped his right arm around me and he pulled me closer to him till my head was laying on his neck and he started stroking my hair like it was a pet. It was in the middle of the film when I heard Leon's voice. At least he started on a less interesting scene of the film.

L: So have you found a new job yet?
V: Well me and the girls were talking and because we all need jobs, we could work together at the studio, I heard there was a few job offers available so Fran is the music teacher, Cami is the new dance teacher and I am the new singing teacher.
L: I'm so proud of you, when do you start?
V: On Monday so I start tomorrow.
L: I'm so happy for you. He then wraps his o
Left arm around me and hugs me from the side and then kisses my forehead. I just love his kisses.
V: Shhhh, this is the best bit.
L: What's happening now?
V: You just have to wait and see.

It was at the part when the vampires were fighting each other (I don't want to spoil the film in case people haven't seen it yet) the expression on Leon's face was priceless and I couldn't help but let out a quiet giggle.
