Chapter 14

Sage's P.O.V

I woke up still in the dark room.  I didn't know what to feel or think all I knew was I had to find a way out. I mean there must be a way out being the moon goddess must have its perks. I try to connect myself with the rest of the pack. Pretty soon it became too much and I ended up giving myself a headache. I try to shift this time, only to break my hand. I let out a screech of agony. The steel is preventing me from shifting. That bitch thought of everything. Dammit!

The more I tried to break free the more I realized how hopeless I was. I had no connection to the pack, no way to shift, and I was surrounded by an entire room made out of steel. " I need you mother" I say to myself hoping she would magically appear. When I realized no one was coming for me I let out a roar so loud the guards came in to see what the problem was.

"shut the fuck up with you" one of them said.  I roll my eyes and say "I wasn't the one who wanted to be kidnapped and chained into a room made of steel." They roll their eyes and leave out of the room leaving me in complete loneliness and darkness...

Ryker's P.O.V

"WHERE THE HELL IS SHE!?" I yell. I'm getting too upset that my bab-- that Sage isn't safe. Yeah...

"Calm down Ryker! She's gonna be alright. Sage is a strong girl who can get through anything" Case says. "I know, but it just kills me to know she's probably sitting in some dark cold cellar locked up by some psycho who wants her for God knows what." I explain "We know it's hard. Were all going through it, but we've all learned what to do in a hostage situation like this. This is what we're trained for in this pack. So calm down, clear your head and try to help us figure out who and why someone took Sage." I nod and get to work.

Case's P.O.V

I sort've feel like Sage's kid napping was my fault. I knew about the death threats and I did nothing. I didn't even warn her.  I sigh and get back to work. "If I were a crazy kidnapper where would I be?" I mumble to myself after Jess takes him out the room to calm down. "Where's the Moon Goddess when you need her?" Kev sighs.

"I'm right here actually." we immediately stand up and bow our heads. "You may rise boys." she says warmly and surprisingly calmer than I thought.  "Now. I see my daughter, Sage, heir to the throne of the entire supernatural world, has been kidnapped." she giggles a bit and I look down right confused. "Oh God. And her sister think she got away with it." she giggles some more "Umm.. Not to be rude or anything, but there's a probability that Sage could be killed." I say looking at her like she's crazy "Nonsense. Any sane person knows that killing a Royal won't work. It's impossible." she says sitting down in a chair. "What do you mean?" I ask, me gaining interest on the topic. "Everyone knows this. If you try to kill a Royal, you kill yourself. The Royal will survive and you will die. It's a protection spell that was put on the Royal family by with billions of years before me." she says.

"By the way. Kaylee took her. I'm actually surprised you all haven't guessed that yet. I mean Sage is becoming the Moon Goddess, she's also the Alpha of the pack Kaylee wanted, she has Ryker, and magical powers. Basically she has everything that Kaylee wants and it's killing her" She says smiling "Well then where is she, because I'm gonna tear her head off when I get my hands on her." Kev says going all big brother mode. I couldn't blame him, I felt the same way. "Simmer down Kevin. Sage is in no danger. But I know you all know that Kaylee couldn't of done this all alone. She is working with someone, but I haven't figured it out yet." she say tapping her nails on the edge of the spinning chair. "I wonder who could hold a grudge against Sage, or even be mad at her. She's a sweetheart." I say wondering who the hell the accomplice is.

"I'm working on it, but you two need to tell the rest of your pack.... or well packs. Tell them to beware of Kaylee, because I'm pretty sure some screws are loose up in there" she says tapping her head "But all you all can do is wait." she sits back calmly "What do you mean 'wait'?" I say forgetting who I'm speaking to. She chuckles though "This may be a kidnapping, but it is also a test for Sage. In order to become the Moon Goddess she has to prove herself. We have to make sure she can protect herself when nobody's there to help her. She has to be able to want to get out. She can't just depend that someone's looking or coming for her. Though we will be tracking her to see if she's okay, we will not go and rescue her." she says giving a stern look and we nod.
