Chapter 16

Sage's P.O.V

It's been about a week since I got back home. Everything's amazing. I get to see my friends and family and even my mom more. I had to tell them about Kaylee. Everyone actually seemed relieved. Even her old pack was like ' good riddance '.

All week I've been working on getting my weight back up. My mom says since my weight and health are steady, it's time for me to start training again; This time to be a Goddess.

I walk out of my bedroom after getting ready for the day and putting on some workout clothes. I walk into the kitchen and grab a water and apple. I finish my apple quickly and make my way to the gym. I walk in to see everyone there. And by everyone, I mean both packs. 

"Ahh. You made it just in time Sage." My mother says walking over to me in her gym uniform. I must say, my mom is fit. Jess chuckles obviously reading my mind. "We're about to discover some powers" my mom says winking. "Oh I already found mine when I first got here" I reply while levitating some of the gym equipment. "I know that, but your a soon to be Moon Goddess. That means you need more protection, which means you and everyone in this pack are going to get powers, or in your case, more." Woah. "Okay well let's get started" I say putting down my water bottle and taking off my shirt, leaving me in my sports bra.

I feel a pair of eye's burning into my skull. I look up to see Ryker, his eye's black as night. He clinches his jaw and comes over to me. "Hey Ryk--" He quickly pulls me to the side along with my shirt "Whats wrong?" I ask "Put in on." he growls "Wa-- what?" I ask a little irritated this time. "Put the shirt back on. I don't want anyone looking at you." he says with a red face that makes him look so hot, especially when I look down at his abs-- Wait a minute! "Why don't you put your shirt on?" I mimick his anger "What? I'm a dude" he says actually believing that justifies anything "And your sexist." I say about to walk away, but he catches my arm. "W-wait. I'm sorry. That was out of line. I apologize." he breaths in accepting defeat "It's just that, I love you. Everything about you. And I don't need anyone else loving you like I do." he says pouting. God damn why does he have to be so cute. I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist. "I understand.." I internally groan. I'm being such a softy. "... And if it makes you feel better.." ughhhh "I'll put a shirt on. But you should know that those puppy dog eye's won't work everytime and one day you'll just have to deal with it" I say and he immediately perks up "I'm looking forward to that day." he smiles brightly and kisses the tip of my nose walking away.

After about two hours of training and 'finding inner peace', as my mother says, everyone in the pack obtained a gift. Many had the same power and were split into groups. There were Energy Wolfs who absorb other people's powers and use them themselves, Invisibles who turn invisible, Astral Projectionist who can project their souls out of their bodies and go anywhere without actually leaving their spot, Metal controlers (the name speaks for itself) which will come in handy with hunters trying to shoot us with silver bullets, Illusion breakers who can see through illusions, time manipulators(name speaks for itself), and time travelers.

Ryker fit into the group of Energy Wolfs, Case into the Invisibles, Jess an illusion breaker, Faith an Astral Projectionist, Gabe a metal controller, Alex a time manipulator, and Kev a time traveler.

"Wooo!!" Faith, Alex and Jess jump around me all excited. "We got new powers! They're so cool!" Faith say like a 13 year old girl. I giggle at their excitement. "Lucinda said we'll be obtaining even more powers once you become the Moon Goddess." Alex says.

I feel some gentle hands wrap around my waist and a kiss behind my ear. "Hey babe." Ryker blows lowly in my ear and I swear my knees wobble. If Ryker wasn't hugging me righy now I'd be jelly on the floor. I smile up into his beautiful blue eyes. I turn around in his arms and give him a soft gentle kiss. I let go and smile up at him.

"Oh get a room!" Gabe says making everyone snicker. I then feel this tingle go down my body and I hear a screech. I look over to see Gabe all wet. I giggle and look up at Ryker. "You stole my power." I pretend glare at him. "Awesome isn't it?" I chuckle and nod.

"Sage dear! Now for me show you the perks of being a stay at home Moon Goddess." She giggles at her own joke. I walk over to her and she puts everyone in their groups. "Being the Moon Goddess means you have to be as strong as a pack on your own. You have to be able to withstand anything. So, you now have every power they have plus a few more." She says and takes hold of my hand and closes her eyes. Our hands begin to glow and I feel a warmth travel all through my body. She opens her eyes. "You now have three new powers that I just gave to you. Omniscience-y which means you have the power to everything going on at any point in time with humans and all supernatural creatures. You are now indestructible and can't die. Lastly you have unlimited power, which includes you having everyone's power in this pack and in the world." She says and I nod still taking everything in. "This much power come with responsibility and I trust you will do right by me, your packs, your family and your kingdom. I must go now but I will be back tomorrow with some of my top guards who will begin to train you all in fighting." My mother says and transports out of here.

Everyone leaves to go get refreshed for dinner. I begin to follow until I get this gut feeling. My friends coming over realize my dismay and hurry over. Ryker begins to panic "Oh my Goddess. Are you okay? Your not dying are you? Oh my gosh if your going to die I won't be able to go to sleep at night. Oh my gosh. I'm freaking out." Kev slaps him in the head. "Thank you. I needed that." Ryker says and Kev nods with a thumbs up. "I'm not dying Ryker." I say and he breaths out a sigh of relief "I just had this bad feeling. Sorta as if something's coming." I say and they get quiet. "I'm sure it probably was nothing." I say and they seem to shake it off as we walk into the house and to our rooms.
