Chapter 28

Case's P.O.V

It was me, Gabe, and Kev's job to lure Ryker away from the house, into the car, and to A'Thalia's castle. We plan to convince him to go with us on a guys night, then we'll knock him out on the car drive to A'Thalia's castle, where she'll proceed to undo Cecilia's spell. Pretty simple.

We walk up to Cecilia's bedroom door, where Ryker has recently moved in. Ryker comes to the door, puzzled once he sees us.

"If you came here to bellidle Cecilia and I's relationship you best be on your way because I frankly don't care if you all don't like her. I love her and that's that." I internally huff at the obvious mind spell she has on him.
"No actually. We didn't come for that. We came to see if you wanted to hang out tonight." He looks sort've unsure if he should or not.
"Look man, we just miss the four of us hanging out together. We realize that you truly love Cecilia and if that's the way we'll get ya, we're gonna be glad anyway we get ya. You're our friend. Bro's for life, remember?" I raise my hand for a fist bump. He takes a second before he accepts and we each do a bro hug.

"So what's the plan for tonight? I haven't been out in a while." He scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed. "We're gonna go to a new club that's having its grand opening tonight. It's about an hour away, but it should be worth it." Kev explains.
"Sound fun, but the grand opening? The doors will be swamped. How do we get in without a reservation?" He asks. I feel bad for lying to him like this, but it has to be done. For Sage, and for the rest of the people who truly love and care for him.

"We're lucky because we know the guy who owns the club. His names Rick, he's an old friend of ours." Of Sage. "Awesome! Looks like we're set. I just need to tell Cecilia where I'll be-" I cut him off.
"Don't tell her. We're all not telling our mates. It's a secret guys trip. Don't worry though I'm pretty sure the girls will be taking Cecilia out for one too. I mean you all will be having a baby so it's about time we bring her into the family right?" He looks unsure but eventually gives in.

"Aah. What the hell. I'm sure she'll be fine." We then all part ways to get ready for the club. If we're gonna act the part, we gotta look the part, which means getting dressed for the club we're not going to.

*2 hours later*

We've now been in the car about an hour and we're almost to the spot where we're meeting A'Thalia and the girls. Ryker keeps going on and on about Cecilia and how much he loves her. I swear I don't know if I can take anymore of it.

Luckily we pull up to the cozy cottage in A'Thalia's woods.
"I thought we were going to the club." Ryker asks.
"Well, we still are but we're just speaking to a friend real quick. You should come inside and meet him he's actually the owner of the club." Kev says like it was the easiest thing to come up with.

"Sure. I'd love to meet him." We all hop out of the car and walk up to the house. We open the door and one of A'Thalia's guards, Mark, opens the door posing as Rick.
"What's up Rick? It's been a while!" We each bro hug as he plays along. "Way too long man." He looks over to Ryker and I begin introducing him "This is our buddy Ryker, he'll be clubbing with us tonight." He gives Ryker a fist bump "That's what's up. The more the merrier right? Come on inside I'm almost done getting ready." We walk inside with Ryker not suspecting a thing.

"So you can just sit down and hill for a sec." Mark goes into the next room. He comes back out with three other guards, Nick, Bryce, and Nathan. "Are they gonna be hanging out tonight as well..?c Ryker begins to ask but they grab him quickly.

"Man, what the hell!? Get off me! Case, Kev, Gabe!" He yells for our help but sadly we don't respond. The guards successfully the him up in rope and inject him with a low dosage of wolf's bane.

"Case.. w- what's going o- on?" He questions me. "We're here to get the real Ryker back." I'm walks Sage, the girls, The Moon Goddess, and A'Thalia.

"Good evening Ryker. I don't know if you know this, but you have been put under a spell that links you to Cecilia in a romantic way. Cecilia is the one who did this to you and I am going to undo it. Your true mate is Sage, as the Moon Goddess planned." Ryker struggles while mumbling stuff like "Cecilia's my mate." Or "I don't love Sage," which I can tell struck a nerve in her body.

A'Thalia then proceeds to find the spell in her family's grimoire. "Aha! Here it is! Pass me the ingredients." The everlasting black candle hand made by the first ever witches, limes from her families sacred lime tree, metal pin, and athame (A/N: A ceremonial knife), are all handed to her quickly.

"Great! Now let us start. Sage I'll need you to come hold his hand while the spell goes on so his spirit can fully reconnect with yours." Sage sits and with little resistance from a loopy Ryker she holds his hand tight.

"Now I need you to write Cecilia's name on the top half of the candle and write Ryker's name on the bottom with the pin." Sage does as she's told. "Now to dab some lime juice lightly on the shaft of the candle." The candle begins to glow a vibrant white color. "Now all thats left to do is to cut the candle, or should I say whack it in half." Sage raises the ceremonial knife high in the air as it begins to glow brightly like the candle. With much force she drops the knife onto the candle and chops it in half.

A weird green fog like gas rises into the air and over to Ryker who immediately falls asleep once he inhales it. The fog then proceeds to leave the hours and zoom off out the front door.
"Where's it going?" Faith asks. "It's going to find its way to Cecilia. When the gas turns purple we will then need the Moon Goddess." My mom looks confused. "Since you make mate connections you are the only one who can restore one." My mom begins to understand as we wait for the fog to find its way to Cecilia.

Hey guys! I'm sorry this chapter took so long! I just started back up with school like 3 weeks ago. Today's actually my first day of the third week of school. I hope you all enjoy it and I'll try to update as much as possible.

I would try and update at school, but they have the wattpad website and app blocked.
