Chapter 7

Sage's P.O.V

I begin to say something but I'm interrupted by the knocking at the door.

One of the pack members go to get it. We all get a pack link saying 'she says she's here for Sage' I get up off the floor and Case tells them to let her in. I was fixing my shirt when a firmiliar sent hits the air. You can feel a humongous amount of power enter the house. Everyone left and right begin to bow their heads. "What's happening?" Case asks with his head bended. "I don't know" I look up from Case to see "Mom?"

*present time*

"What are you doing here!? Where'd you go!? Why are you here?! What's going on!?" she gently shushes me "Hello Sage, Kaylee" she angrily glances at her. "As you probably now know, I am the Moon Goddess. That's the reason I had to leave. The same thing that happened to you all happened to me. My mother, the former Moon Goddess had to leave since it was her turn to become the Moon Goddess. I never saw her again until I had to do the ceremony to take her powers." she says mainly to me "I saw the future and what would happen if I left. The council let me decide to go or not, but I knew I needed to or you, Sage, would've died because you wouldn't have found this pack. People with your powers are usually drawn to their designated packs. If you didn't meet them by the time you turned eighteen you would've died." she finished. I had to take a second to take everything in. "So you knew, that I would've been abused by those assholes for eight years and you still left?!" I exclaim "You would be dead right now if I hadn't." she simply replied. I kept my mouth shut after that. Seeing as if I didn't go through that torture I wouldn't be here today. I look up at her and I hug her tightly. She hugs me back with the same amount of effort and love.

Kaylee slowly walks over after were done with our encounter "Now you Kaylee. I expected more from you. How could you watch your sister go through that everyday and not feel any kind of remorse or simpathy. I want nothing to do with you or the rest of this pack." she states looking at the Night Howl pack. Kaylee rolled her eye's and said "You know what? I don't care. You weren't there before, I don't need you here now." and she shimmys her annoying ass back over to Ryker.

My mothers gaze lands on him "Now you. Ryker. I watched you grow since you were just a mere pup. You mother was my bestfriend. I thought you would grow up and meet your mate. Love her and cherish her till the day you die. But you see you didn't. For popularity reasons you rejected her and embarrassed her in front of everyone knowing thats one of the worst things a werewolf can go through. And to top it off, after she left, you faked having a mate so you could become Alpha, with her sister. I see that didn't work out in the end did it?" she says raising her eyebrow with a stern look. But her hard gaze soon melted into a soft one "I know you will, and I know you are. Just put some effort into it and you'll succeed and be happy. She's a bit stubborn but I see it. It'll happen" my mother tells him. I didn't know she could read minds. I wonder what her said. Probably some sappy sob story shit.
My thoughts are cut off by mothers speaking.

"Now. I know your all probably wondering why I'm here since no one ever sees the Moon Goddess unless their dying and passing over. But I can be summoned. You see this necklace--" she touched the diamond chain she gave me so long ago "-- is the barrier between the shared human and supernatural world and the heaven's where I live--" she looks into my eyes "You, Sage, are the barrier between our world's. When you take this off, it makes a disturbance in my part of the heaven's. Which means I have to come down from my thrown to see whats happening. If you take this off and can't get it back on in time, you will die and the heaven's and the earth will become one. Which is the most dangerous thing that can ever happen. All supernatural creatures near and far will die. All supernatural God's will die. And the earth will go out in flames. Their will be no existence of anything living ever again. That makes you the most dangerous weapon in the universe for right now." she says waiting to start up again. Seeing if I'm processing everything properly

"Now. I know your friends and pack mates have been telling you that you have a massive amount of energy coming off of you. That is due to the fact that my time as Moon Goddess is almost over. And you are the next in line." my eyes shoot out of my head. "Wait what!?" I scream "You've got to be kidding me!? I can't leave. My entire life is here! I can't leave!" I state sternly "That's the beauty of you being in this pack. Your pack is the most powerful pack known anywhere. You all have powers that protect you. So you can be protected here. You can stay here." she says smiling as I begin to scream excitedly "Yes! I wasn't gonna leave either way, but yes!" me and the girls hug "I see your the seventh of the equation. My mother states." I nod "You should know the seventh is always the most powerful, and with you being the next Moon Goddess your the most powerful thing to ever exist. You must protect yourself and this pack. With you living here and being the Moon Goddess they will become stronger too. You will adapt more powers so your fit to protect whenever anything happens." she says. "I will. I promise" I say.

"Now. I know this is alot to take over breakfast, but there's more. Seeing as your father left you his pack, you have the choice of joining the two packs or dropping the Night Howl pack" she says. I look over at Kaylee and Ryker and smirk. "I thi---" I'm cut off "Please Sage. Don't act on account of your feelings at the moment take some time to decide. You have 7 months to decide. When that time comes you will have your crowning ceremony and you will make your decision. In that time period I will be checking up on you and your pack and training you myself. Please look over your options carefully and choose wisely" I sigh "Alright mom. I will. No matter how hard it is" I say looking over at the Night Howl pack. "I just know you will." she smiles brightly and engulfs me with a warm hug. Her strong scent of cinnamon and apples smell delightful. We let go of each other "Alright Sage. I'll see you when I can. We will begin training next month. I love you. Please do remember that." I smile warmly. She kisses my head and tells everyone else goodbye.

Were all quiet even after she leaves the pack house. I guess were all just taking in that our lifes are going to change for the better or for worst.

Hey guys! I'm sorry.... again. I have two days till school starts up again and I've just been super busy, getting stuff prepared to go back. I started late seeing as I was in Georgia for a month and just got home six days ago. So I'm just really busy. But I'll try to keep this book updated.
