Chapter 9

Sage's P.O.V

"Eeek! Thats perfect! It's soo you!" I roll my eye's at Jess. The girls picked out my outfit for me and Ryker's so called "Date". I have to admit it's really cute. It's an all white t-shirt thats extra long. Alex decided to tie a little knot at the hip. I also have on rippedwhite skinny jeans paired with some leather black boots. We started extra early so I could die my hair brown. It was already growing back to it's natural color at the roots so I decided to touch it up a bit.

After taking a quick selfie in the mirror, I walk down the hall and down the stairs. I meet Ryker at the front door. He's wearing a plain white shirt with a black leather jacket to compliment it. He's also wearing black ripped skinny jeans and black and white converse. "Hey" he breaths out. "Hi" I say bluntly "You ready?" he asks a little nervous "Obviously" I know, I know. Mean right? I'm sorry. Can't help it.

"Where are we going?" I say ready for the night to be over "You'll see. Just follow me" he replies opening the door. We walk outside and we shift. Now I know what your wondering. 'your gonna be naked!'. Thats not the case anymore. Recently we bought the whole pack clothes that are made just for shape shifters. So when we shift and shift back, our clothes will be the same.

It's a quiet run since he can't mind link me. We run fast for miles until were in the woods across the street from a carnival. We shift and walk over. "Where do you wanna go first?" Ryker askes me while paying for our wrist bands. "Umm.." I hum while looking around. I see a roller coaster and immediately have to go on it. "The roller coaster" I say smiling at him. I realize I'm being too friendly and I dial it down.

We wait in the line which wasn't very long and hop in our seat next to eachother. After everyone is seated the contraption starts heading up the hill. I see Ryker tense and grip onto the bars a little tighter while shutting his eyes. He looked adorable. Wait. I didn't mean that. Just a minor causality. I face forward as we hit the top. We fall down screaming our heads off. Ryker's face was red as day. I laughed because of the intense butterflies I have and how stupid and scared Ryker looks.
We go over two more humps and we swirl and ride upside down on a circle.

When the ride comes to an end, I hop off laughing my ass off while Ryker looks as if he could puke right then and there. I laugh some more at him until his face turns back to it's normal color. We go on slides and bean bag tosses. Ryker even won me a white wolf stuffed animal. 

As the night went on I could hardly remember why I hate him so much. He was a nice sincere guy. He made sure I was okay before himself. He made me laugh and smile. He managed to make tonight one of the most fun nights of my life.

We stopped infront of the ferris wheel and got in our seats. We were the only one's riding it at this hour, since everyone was starting to make their way out. I saw Ryker whisper to the man, but I didn't quite hear him, not even with my wolf hearing.

We get in our seats and go around once in a comfortable silence. It wasn't awkward or frustrated it was kinda nice. When we went around the second time the ferris wheel stopped at the top. "Are we stuck?" I ask almost panicking. "No I asked him to stop us up here so we can get a chance to talk." Ryker says. I nodd. "Okay. So what do you wanna talk about?" I say looking around at the sky "You know I meant it when I said I was sorry right?" he says. I look into his beautiful blue eyes, I'll never admit that to him, to see sincere sorry meaning behind them. "Yeah. I know" I nodd my head staring into his eyes intensely.

"Good. Because I really am sor--" I cut him off "It's okay. I know you are. You've proved yourself. I forgive you" I say with a small smile. His mouth shoots out into a big grin and he rushes in probably not knowing what he's doing, and kisses me. He quickly pulls away realizing what he had done and turns a bright shade of red. "U-u I-I uh-uh. I-I didn't mean to--" I unexpectedly cut him off with a kiss.

He's taken back by my boldness but he soon responds back. His moist soft pink lips carress and mold against mine so perfectly, I didn't even notice the ferris wheel had moved and stopped at the bottom until we heard someone clear their throat. We quickly shoot up and get off the ride thanking the man for his services. He nodds his head with with a smile and we shift and take off into the woods.

Once we got back to the pack house we stopped infront of the door. "I-uh. Had alot of fun tonight. Thank you" I say sincerely with a smile looking into his eyes "I'm glad you did. I had fun too." he says looking down at me since he was a good foot taller than me.

I stand on my toes and give him a quick kiss on the cheek "See ya tomorrow" I say and walk through the front door, up to my room and into my bed not even bothering to change. I just sat there thinking about how fucked I am.
