Chapter 13

Sage's P.O.V

I wish I could've saved him. I wish I could've gotten to say those three little words that told him exactly how I felt about him. But now I'm sitting here helpless in a cage, with no way to get to him.

I growl feeling my inner wolf trying to pry her way out in order to save her mate. I couldn't see much seeing as they dragged us into an alleyway. I could tell they were other wolfs... Rogues to be exact... They reeked of the smell.

There were about three surrounding me. Though the were good.. I was better. I kneed one in the crotch and smashed anothers head into a wall knocking him out cold. The last one was slicker.. More of an angelic fighting technique. I could tell it was a girl, but she wasn't a rogue. She didn't smell like them. She smelled as if she belonged to a pack. I just couldn't figure out which one.

She punched me in the jaw hard, but I bounced back with two fast ones to the gut. This knocked her down. I got on top of her about to finish what I started, when I finally saw her face in the nearby street light..

"...Kaylee?" I said astonished. She used my distracted state to her advantage and stabbed me with a needle. Whatever that was in it instantly began to make me weak. Kaylee and the last standing man dragged me into a dark black SUV leaving Ryker in the alleyway, only to wake up and wonder where he is and what happened... why I'm not there.

Ryker's P.O.V

Where the hell am I? And why is it wet? Fuck I've got a major migraine. Where the fuck is Sage? Didn't we go out last night? Or was it just a dream? Probably.. She'd never want to go out on a date with me.

I roll on my side, seeing if I can get back to my womderfulq dream... That's strange.. My pillow is hard.. I finally open my eyes. "What the fuck!!!" I basically yell.. Causing me to double over in pain from this huge headache. I touch the side of my head only to look down and see blood.

I realize I'm still in my suit.. Meaning we did go out.. But where is she now? In a gigantic wave all the memories flooded back into my mind giving me a seriously more painful headache. "They took her" I whisper, getting more and more scared amd angry at the same time. I dig in my pocket for my phone. Luckily it's still there. I immediately call for help.

"Case! Case! Is that you?" I say frantically "Yes, yes it is Ryker, and calm down whats going on?" he ask with concern lacing his voice. "Sh-she's- She' gone! They took her! I don't know where she is. Please come help." I say beginning to feel the water fall from my eyes "They took Sage" he whispers to himself "I shouldn't of let this happen. This is all my fault" he says getting angrier by the second.. At himself.

"No-no. It's not. It's not your fault." I say only trying to comfort another person who can't live without Sage. "IT IS!..I knew they'd pull something like this. Yet I didn't even warn her... Where are you? Were coming right now" he says. I walk out of the dark alleyway and see the restaurant. "I'm at Squisito. They only dragged us into the alleyway nearby." I say in a rush, not wanting to waste time finding my love.

"Good. We'll be there in ten." He says and hangs up the phone, probably telling the others what happened by now.

"I'm coming for you babe. I'm coming"

Sage's P.O.V

"KAYLEE!! KAYLEE!! KAYLEE YOU FUCKING BITCH!! WHERE ARE YOU!? SHOW YOUR GOD DAMN FACE!!" I scream out into the dark. I soon here the patter of footsteps coming towards the cell. "Why hello little sister. Comfy?" she chuckles like a witch. "Get me the fuck out of here you narcissistic bitch" I snarl "Hush hush. We don't use profanities here. It's bad." She chuckles some more. "Wait till I get out of these chains. I'll kill you. I swear it" I say pulling on the chains. "Ah ah ah. You won't be getting out out of those chains anytime soon. They're made of silver and were soaked in wolfsbane for an entire month." This only makes me angrier "LET ME OUT!!!!!" I scream again. "Sorry. No can do. You see.. I've spent years being daddy's little girl.. I did everything to please him. I DESERVED THE PACK!!.. But no.. That's not all.. I also spent years with Ryker. I love him. HE'S MINE!!!.. And if I can't have him NO ONE CAN!!!" she screams and begins.to walk away, but I stop her before she's out the door.

"You know he loves me. He will come for me. And the rest of my pack too. You'll be sorry." I say knowing my lover is on the hunt right as we speak. "Ah ah ah. Yet again your wrong. Because I've sent a little message to your so called 'packs' and they know that if they even think of coming here, that is if they ever find you, I will kill you in the most torturous and gruesome way there is. So really.. Your the one that's gonna be sorry." she chuckles leaving me dumbfounded and scared in a dark room in a cage.

Kaylee's P.O.V

"My plan is going oh so smoothly. And soon you'll get your revenge and I'll get my rightful spot as Alpha of my fathers pack and the heart of Ryker." I say looking into the mirror while fixing my hair. I hear her clear her throat signaling my attention. "What is it?" I say now applying the lip gloss "You forgot my part of the deal" I internally roll my eyes "Ahh yes. And you will gain leverage to that bitch of a Moon Goddess I have as a mother. Sage will lead you to her since she doesn't want anything to happen to poor Sage which will give you time to kill her leaving you as the Moon Goddess.. There.. Happy?" I say with a sarcastic smile "Indeed." she says while I pick up my purse and head towards the door.

"See ya later Kaylee" she says with an obviously evil smirk.....

"See ya Cecelia" I say and make my way back to the pack house to claim my lover boy.....
