Election day

I saw Pete, and oak were killing those walkers one by one. For now me and siddiq were thinking what to do to escape. "I know." I said grabbing my backpack and took out the blankets.
"The each one and it makes a rope" I said "Hurry."
We both tied each one. We finally finished. So we let the rope fall to the next parking floor. "It's ready, hurry." siddiq said. We all went fast going down to the rope to the next floor. Once we were there we were running heading to the stairs. We ended up at the parking lot.
"Now what?" Pete said.
"I don't know." I said.
"Not bad." I heard Maria's voice. "What the hell are you doing here."I asked. "Well I really don't want to be waiting I want to help." she said. "What ever." I said. "We need to think what we need to do."oak said.
"Where did you get that bow at?" Maria asked. "In the mall." I said.
"PUT DOWN YOUR WEAPONS NOW!" someone yelled. I put my hands on the air and slowly put my bow down. And so did my group did. "Everything." The person said.
I turned around and saw a man with a shotgun. "What does you think alpha?" he said looking at a women. She was white and she had brown hair. "Mom, what happened?" I saw a little girl peaking out behind alpha. "Nothing sweetie." alpha said. "Leave them be George." she said. Then more people came, not much like five more. Beta had also brown hair and was tall. The girl, also had brown hair. "Names alpha, this is George, and Gigi, my daughter" she said "I'm also the leader of this group."
"Well, we don't have a leader in the place we live." Pete said.
"Mom, I'm hungry." Gigi said. "Dan we ran out, do you have spear food. Please." alpha asks. I only had the food with me. But I dont know if I should trust them, but the girl is hungry, shit. "Yeah I have spear food." I said taking out a bar. "Thank you..." alpha stopped "Oh Gerardo, this is Pete, siddiq, and oak." I said. "Thank you Gerardo." alpha said. "We all haven't had some rest since months." alpha said yawning.
"We have a place if you want to stay." Pete said. "Yes, please."
When we arrived, I told everyone to meet me at the middle of the yard.
"As you all know, I'm just a kid, and also you might see that Abraham and Rosita and Eugene is not here, it's because, we got over run by some walkers. Then they took the truck and left is behind. We have new people here, so please be nice to one other, no violence here please. Thank and you may proceed on what you were doing." I said.
I led them to their apartment. Once alpha opened the door. Salvador was behind the door, with a shotgun.
"Stand back Gerardo, you can't be just trusting random people and letting them in like this."
"Sal, please I vouch for these people," I said "please put that gun down."
"No worries Gerardo, I have a good feeling that Salvador and me, are going to be good friends." she lowered to Salvador's face and smiling, and putting on his head. "Now if you excuse me I need to get some rest." alpha said pushing Salvador out. "What the fuck Salvador?" I said "You can't just treat our new people like this." I said.
"You can't be to trustworthy in this world." he said with a frown.
"Whatever. I'm going to the garden." I said.
I a desk, and a stuffed bear. I placed the bear on the table. I grabbed my bow and started to shoot at it. ZING ZING ZING The noise went everytime I shot an arrow. I keep missing, I concentrated in the bear and arrow. I hold the arrow and I stayed still, one eye closed, one eye open. I held my hand all the way back ready to shoot.
ZING Headshot. I did a headshot, but I still practiced more and more. I wasn't doing that bad, but I did good.
"Look at you, new weapon, huh?" Dharma came out with a muscle shirt. "Yeah, what do think?" I asked. "Not bad."
"Where is you machete?"
"My apartment."
"Feel better?"
"Yeah."
BANG There was a gun shot.
"Put that gun down!" I heard a man yell. I grabbed all my arrows and ran to the gate. I saw one of our gate man, with a gun pointing at a man. "Sorry, trying to kill a Walker." The man said, he had a mustache lamp black hair, wearing sunglasses, and a coat, and pants. "Names Max." max said. "I mean no harm. Can I enter, please."
The man on the gate looked at me. "I guess." I said. They guy open the door, and let Max in. He was holding a bag. "What's in that bag?" I said. "Oh, food, ammo, and medicine."
"Are you alone?" I asked. "No." he said. The gate guy hold his gun pointing at the gate. "Don't worry, it's a girl, and a doctor, a girl. You can come out now." he said, the two women came out.
"Holy shit." I said. It was Esmeralda and rose. "Where's Anthony?" I said holding my bow at Esmeralda.
"Is that how you treat me, no hug, no hi, no nothing." she said. "I want to protect this place." I said. "He's not here." she said. I was surprised that Rose isn't dead. "We'll talk later, u want to see the leader here." max said. "There's no leader." I said. "Oh, I see." he said. We had a talk, not important though. I took Esmeralda to a room. "Tell me, how did you escape, are planning something?" I said. "You don't trust me do you?" she asked.
"Answer my question." I said.
"After me and Anthony went behind the door, I saw you, Dhamar and rose. I was still holding the gun, when Anthony was distracted, I hit him in the head, he passed out, I couldn't let her die. So I saved her, I took her to the first room I saw, luckily it lead to the basement, I end in there and their was a stair that led outside. Rose told me everything so she can patch herself. But I didn't know if Anthony is dead. We were attached by people, bad people, but max came and scared them away, but the people were talking about a place called 'Monroe'  it was in the ocean, I don't know where. So yeah." she stopped crying "I'm sorry, I really am."
"I'll give you a second chance." I said.
"Thank you."
"Your going to sleep with Rose and max."
Linda told me she already gave them his room, I thanked her. Then it was shut eye time.
I was sleeping, and I heard a lot whispers, and I saw light, color of fire. I went outside. I saw people with torches. I went over there to see what is going on. I saw everyone, Salvador, Rose, Pete, alpha, everyone. Surrounding max.
"I agree." I heard a man say.
"What is going." I said.
"Wow, he doesn't know." The man said.
"We will make this place better than ever, we will know be rising from darkness!" max said.
"Yeah!" another man sad holding his fist up in the air.
"for now on there should be punishment for people that disobey me!" max continues.
Across I saw Pete nodding no to me and crossing his arm, Salvador, Esther, marielie, and alpha did the same. I went up to max. "What are doing?" I asked. "Thanks to you, you made me leader of this place." max said in front of my face. "You can't just be leader here, you are new here, and we don't know if we can trust you." I said. "Oh really, by punishment, we should start with him." he said pointing at a guy.
"This person just killed your friend Linda." max said.
"No. No!" I said.
"Gerardo you decide, should we through him out in the Walker's or you kill him." max said. "I can't kill someone." I said.
"You are disobeying me." he said.
"Fuck it." he said taking out a gun, BANG he turned around and shot the guy. "THAT'S ENOUGH!" I yelled. "This asshole can't be leader!" I said yelling. Everyone stayed silent. I turned to him. "Leave. NOW!" I yelled pointing at the gate. "No, I'm already leader. I want you to leave." he said. "No, this is where I live, this is where I was from, this is my place." I said pointing at the ground.
"I'm still leader." he said.
"Fine. But I'm not leaving." I said turning around and went to my apartment. I went to my bed.
"I also don't want him leader." a girl said from the closet, it was Maria. "I don't trust him." she says.
BANG BANG I heard banging on my door. A man knocked down the door. "He should be punished for mistreating Max!" a man came and started pointing at me.
"GET HIM!"
