One bullet

While those six months, we met new people, we get to talk to them. But there was some people that interest me, that got me interested.
I was stacking up some boxes full of food. When Dhamar came to me and told me we have a problem. I followed her, and I noticed that she was taking me to the front gate. When I was there  I saw a lot of people outside the gate. I told Dhamar to call everyone and to meet me here. So she did. Everyone was here. "As you all know you see people behind this gate. Salvador do we have enough rooms?" I asked him. "I think we have enough because that hotel is really big, and I wanted to tell you that there are houses not far." he said. "Thank you I'll check on that later."
"Wait." I heard someone. I turned around and saw Melanie holding her hand up. "Yes?"
"What about Wellington." she asked. "Well in case things get into bad hands. We'll go there." I said. "Whatever." she looked mad. "I promise." I told her. "Alright in case things, bad things happen get ready to fire, in not to sure about some of these people." I told them reloading my gun. "Wait for what?" Luis asked. "In case someone or a group come charging at us." I told him. "Really? This isn't you, you used to be so nice and you trusted people, what happened, if it's anything you can tell us." Luis said. I stood quite for a moment. "Get ready." I told them. I grabbed the handle and opened it. There were like thirty people. "Welcome everyone, come in." I told them. "Please my friend Salvador will lead your way." I kept talking to them.
We went to the building where a library is. We talked to some people.
We met a lot of people who lost some of their family's. Some who killed. But one kid named Anjay was very suspicious. He said said he was alone there whole thing started. He killed people for food and to survive. "Tell me where we're you before all this started?" I asked him. "Well I was at basketball practice while my parents went to do something I don't know, and I saw a kid fell in the ground, blood came out from his mouth. So yeah and I journeyed here and I found this place." anjay said. "Well thank you for your time, please go over to that girl" I pointing at Esther "her name is Esther and You just tell her that you finished talking." I told him, he got up and left. I talked to more people. "Hi welcome, please have a seat." I told another kid, he was also alone. "Name please." I asked him. "Joshua." he responded. "Tell me Joshua. How did you survive before all this happened?" I asked him. "I was at grocery store with my parents. While we were walking, one of those undead fucks bit my mom." he said with a serious face. "Where you sad?" I asked him. "There us no time to be sad." he said. We talked for a little more. When we were finished I told the same thing to anjay. After I finished I went to got to my room to sleep.
It was about a week and the wolf was already like a teen.
"What are you going to name him?" April asked. "What about claw?" I asked her. "Mm nah." she said. "What about killer?" I told her. "Neither." she said. While me and April were trying to find a name Joseph just said "Wolf."
I found that adorable and his first word. He was already a three months. "Wolf it is." I said. "Not bad." she said. At night I told everyone from my group to meet me outside the yard.
"What's going on?" Esmeralda asked. "I was thinking, are we ready to go do a scavenge hunt?" I asked. "Good question." Salvador said. "Don't know." Esther said. "What if we give it a shot?" Luis said. "What do you guys think?" I asked. "Could be worth it." Dhamar said. "Anyone else agrees?" I asked. "I do." April raised her hand.
"Anyone else?" I said. "I guess." Salvador said.
"I'll be laughing if you guys die." anjay came out of nowhere. "What are you doing?" Luis said to him. "Oh I didn't find it so suspicious everyone getting up and meeting here." he said.
"You better not say anything." Maria said. "Or what your going to kick me out. Yeah I really don't give a shit." anjay said. "Stop." I said. "We're not going to stop you, so you can make all the rumors you want. You haven't meet me or my family here. So whatever you are going to do try to hurt my family that are standing here looking at us, it's going to get really ugly, and I will kill you if you hurt them, but I'm going to kill you slow so I can get my revenge. I never leave without revenge." I told him. "The end." anjay said. "Good night dumb asses." he said leaving.
"So it's settled. We going scavenge hunting, but who should we bring?" I asked. "I'll volunteer." I said raising my hand. "You sure?" April asked. "yeah." I responded. "I'll go." Melanie also said. "Here." Salvador said. Maria raised her arm. "Alright then. It's settled. Tomorrow we will all go. Now go get some rest." I said. Everyone left and I stayed till everyone left. I was a shoulder sticking out, I knew who it was. It's was anjay eavesdropping. I ignored him and left him.
It was morning, I was packing for the hunt, took everything I needed. It took like and hour for everyone to come, I told everyone what is happening. I made April in charge while I was gone. So on the road we went.
Like two days we were gone on the road. I didn't want to go back until we found something good. But today was different like something not right. We were on the road but then I got worried. Like something wasn't right. So in case something bad happened, I checked the gun if it had ammo. I was such a idiot, why didn't I reload before I left. I only had one bullet. "Does anyone have ammo?" I asked. "We have a bag bit it's in the back of the RV?" Salvador said. "Oh okay. We were lucky we took practice for driving." I told them. "Yeah, wish we brought an adult with us." Melanie said. "Don't matter, we know how to take care of ourselves." Salvador said. "We are probably teenagers already. I was on track in the calendar."
"Huh." Maria said.
I noticed my hand was shaking. "You okay Gerardo?" Melanie asked. I didn't answer, but I heard her. "Y-yeah." I said. "You sure?" she asked.
"I said yes."
It took me a second, I was nervous, I felt we were close to the danger. "We should turn back." I said. "Why?" Salvador said.
"I don't fell right about this." I told him. 
"Why not? I mean it was your idea."
"I know but it's probably dangerous, maybe some survivors that kill." I told them.
"Wait." Salvador said. This is where my heart dropped. "What is it?" I asked getting up and I saw two people standing in the middle. Two boys. I got my gun and my bow, and went outside. The rest came with me. "Hi, are you guys okay?" I asked them. "We're okay. What about you?" he responded. "Oh um we're good thanks for asking." I said. I had a sense that's isn't right like something or someone is behind us. I pulled my gun slowly I saw Salvador talking with the two guys. "Hey what are you doing?" one of them asked. "What are you hiding?"  I asked. They all stared at the guys. "Guys get your guns ready, this is a trap!" I yelled. Everyone but everyone took out their guns. "Put your weapons down and nobody gets hurt." he said. "Bullshit." I said. "GET OUT KNOW!" I yelled. "Gerardo no one is coming out." Maria said. I turned around to see the two guys and they were on the ground. "Holy shit." Salvador said. "You guys okay." Luis said. "oh my god, Luis what did you do." I asked. "He passed out, hit him in the head." he said. "You came alone?" Maia asked. "No." he said them Esmeralda came out behind the RV. "Why?" I asked. "We were so worried." Esmeralda said.
"This isn't over." Melanie said. I was so worried. Melanie looked at me and she noticed. "I see them." I said whispering. "I'll count to three, I'll shoot a bullet where they are to got their distraction and all of you go in the RV. "One two. THREE!" I took my gun and shoot unto the trees. Everyone went inside. Then they attacked us. Shooting back and one of them shot Salvador in the shoulder. He kept it strong and kept running. I started the RV and drove away. But they didn't stop, they were still shooting. We only drove like thirty seconds. As they shot one of the tires. "FUCK!" I looked behind me and saw the people coming. "Go from the window." I said. Salvador was the first one and then was Esmeralda. But only two people left. The rest we were caught. "Hands in the hair!" he yelled. He want alone the two guys were with them. He was holding a AK. "Well we got you like a caged mouse. And the best part is, they are kids. What's name son?" he asked Luis. Instead of telling him, Luis spitted on his face. "Heh it's nice to see you too, asshole." he punched Luis. "HEY!" I yelled grabbing my knife. "Tisk Tisk. We don't want to get to carry here right?" he said pointing the AK at me. "Get everyone into the truck, we're going back." he said. I helped Luis getting up. "What's your name?" I asked him. "Let's just say, I'm your Guardian angle." He said. We all went in the back of the truck, and I heard the car leave and so did we. There was a small window. I saw the road and walkers.
It was like forty minutes till we arrived. The three guys got us out of the truck and there was a gate, the gates open. Once I went inside, I knew these were the gates of hell. We went inside a building. I saw a women on a radio saying "Those who arrive survive" and posters that also said Those who arrive survive. I'm guessing we arrived? One of the men said call him. A man came with his arm wide. "Michael welcome back, and I see you brought some guests." he said. "Yeah, they were trouble." Michael said looking at us. "Not exactly, you attached us." I said. "Michael, you know better," The man said "carry on I'll take if from here." he said. The three men left. "I apologize." he said. "Where are our weapons?" Luis asked. "Don't worry they are hidden, yo make sure we trust you, and you won't be needing them, you here. My name is Gareth, and welcome to Terminus." he said smiling. "Now come, I'll show you around."
We went outside and saw people eating meat, and playing games. Gareth stopped on a stand. He got a plate and some meat. "Here enjoy." he said giving it to me. "I'm good, but hungry." I said. "Alright" he said eating it "now, you guys look like a couple of teens. Who is your leader?" he asked.
Should I make a lie or tell the truth.
"Our leader is dead." I said. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." he said. "It's getting night I should get you a room. Follow me." he said. We followed him into a building. He gave us a key and our room. So we slept in the room.
3:00 at night, there was a clock. I heard someone screaming. Everyone woke up "What's going on?" Melanie asked. "Don't know stay back." I said. I went following the noises of sobbing. I saw a man on the floor, and it was one of the guys that trapped us in the woods on the street. A gun was at the floor, I picked it up, unfortunately, the gun, was the one I had, the one bullet. He wasted the bullet on him. I was holding a bullet on my pocket and reload it. I shot him so he won't suffer. I heard a door break down. It was Gareth. "I didn't quiet ask your name." he said. "Gerardo." I said. "Well to bad,  get him." he said telling others behind him. "Wait it wasn't me." I said. "Your the one holding the gun." he said. "I killed him so he wouldn't suffer. I found him there." I said. "Don't care, you are a danger to this community." the other people hand cuff us. "Take him to you know where." Gareth said. We were walking outside. It was a big container. The lights were on, it was bright. But we passed my, I found out they were cannibals, eating humans. While we were walking, I looked to see my group also coming to the container. I looked to my left and saw a face I saw before, to face that made me fear from him. It was Anthony, he was eating meat, he was holding a gun, and was smiling at me. He tried to tell me something moving his lips "One bullet" he said, it was Anthony who killed the man, he knew we were here, Melanie noticed me and Anthony, she saw me in fear, and in we go to the container.
