After Gerardo left. I ask my mom "What do you think happened?"
"I don't know, I just hope they are okay." she said.
At morning, I woke up. I noticed that the door was locked. I heard screams, the the screams stopped. "Mom." I said. I broke the nob by hitting with a chair, then I went outside and she was dead on the floor, and everyone else wasn't here. I went to the phone to calm the cops. But there wasn't any service. I went running to the police station nearby. There wasn't anyone there but the dead. I was to scared to kill them.
I went running to Atlanta, my dad works at night, as a Baker. I was expecting him to be there, when I arrived my dad grabbed me and thought I was one of the dead. "Luis? Oh my god I'm so happy your okay." he said hugging me. "Where's you mother, your sister?" he said going outside looking for them. When he went in I looked at him in a bad look. "No." he said going on his knees. The dead was breaking the door. "We need to leave." he said. Grabbing a knife. We went out the back door, running without stopping. One of the dead grabbed my leg and I went on the floor. My dad pulled him away from me, the Walker grabbed him and bit him on the neck. "RUN LUIS!" He shouted as he was being devored by the walker. I ran into the streets,  while hearing people scream. Then I bumped into a girl. "Sorry, are you alone?" I asked her. "No time!" She said while sprinting. I followed her,  thinking it will be safe to have someone else with me.  We then ended up in a swamp meet building. She barricade us in. "What's your name?" she asked me. "Luis." I responded. "April." she spoke with a lovely voice.
"Now what." she said turning towards me,  waiting for a response. "We make this our safe place to live in for now." I said.
Around two months passed by.  We were both were barricading the windows, then we heard banging on the main door. "Shit walkers!" April said. We went running up stairs and blocked the way up. We waited upstairs, while hearing noises. Minutes felt like hours.  "I'm going to use the bathroom." I said leaving. When I was about to finish, I heard talking. I went out of the restroom and saw april holding a gun pointing at someone. I looked up and saw my cousin Gerardo, like seeing a ghost.  I went to him gave him a hug. "I finally found you, " I said. "Where's our family from the house?" I asked him.
