Marian is busy talking about Vince, their youngest son at how 'kulit' he is for asking if he can swim even if the doctor said he couldn't. Gabriel on the other side is just watching her, smiling at how effortlessly beautiful she is.
She keeps on talking but he is no longer listening, eyes on her as she crumples on her cutest face. He doesn't know how to explain his feelings at that very moment. And when she stops, he wraps his hand around her waist, pulling her to him.
" Huy! " Marian exclaims.
He smiles and kisses the side of her neck.
" Gabriel! "
Then the other side. She pushes him gently.
" Talo ka. "
" Bakit? "
She puts her arm on his chest, blocking him. " Sinong unang bumigay sa'tin? "
He smiles. " Wala na. Suko na'ko. Pinapahirapan mo'ko, eh. Ganito na lang.. " He let go of her, walking to the window side, pulling down the curtains. He looks at her moving his brows up and down. Marian shakes her head at how 'pilyo' Gabriel is.
" Ready ka na, Boss? " he asks, walking to her.
She laughs, shaking her head as she take a step back. " Wag kang lalapit. " she warns him. But Gab didn't listen to her. She's about to turn but Gabriel is so fast. He catches her by the waist pulling her again closer to him.
" At saan ka pupunta? "
Marian giggles. " Bitiwan mo- Aah! "
He sweeps her up in his arms. She giggles, clinging on to his neck.
" I love you, Boss. " he leans forward. She smiles. He kisses her gently, then a bit deeper, before pulling away. He carries her to the bed without parting their lips. He puts her down, propping himself up as he looks at her. She reaches for his cheek and he leans forward for a kiss. He takes her hand to rest it on his shoulder. She reaches for his neck, the hair near his nape, his hand on her waist the other on the side of her cheek, as he deepen the kiss. He trails his kisses down to her neck, as well as her shoulder, as his hand goes beneath her shirt, feeling for bare skin. He kisses her, slowly at first, feeling for the hem of the shirt she is wearing. He proceeds, moving lower and lower. He pulls and takes his shirt off. She smiles and pulls him. She kisses him, letting this one linger. And he answers with another and another. He lowers her shirt kissing her bare shoulder. She helps him, taking her shirt away.
" Ready ka na, Boss? "
Marian giggles, shoving his face away. He kisses her cheek, his lips pressing on her skin for a long moment.
" I love you.. " he whispers and her laughter melts to a smile.
He kisses her lips again and she responds to him, a hand on his nape. He smiles into the kiss, pulling her even closer, his hand beginning to trail down. He slowly joins himself to her. She lets him again. She lets him slip his fingers in the spaces between hers. Lets him leads this dance again. For him, there's no rush. He takes his time, sure of the rhythm they have 12 years ago. He goes on slowly at first, then a bit faster as their body dances, rocking through the music 'til they come to the end.
He press his forhead against hers.
" I love you. "
" Mahal din kita. "
He smiles and kisses the tip of her nose, settling himself on her side, covering her with the blanket.
" Okay ka lang? " Gabriel asks after a while, snuggling closer.
She nod touching his arm placed around her waist.
He kisses her shoulder, pulling her closer to him, closing his eyes as well as hers and drifted to sleep.***
