"Emily, mahal, sige na. I need to attend that party. Mr. Sanchez is expecting us to come." Marco told his wife while fixing his bow tie. He adjusted his coat and turned to his wife who's laying on her stomach.

"I don't want to go." Emily murmured.

Marco heaved a sigh. Thirty minutes ago, she was very enthusiastic that she couldn't stopped talking about it. Thirty minutes later, she's like a kid having her tantrums because she didn't want to go.

Marco walked to the bed. "Emily.."

"Ikaw na lang ang pumunta. I dowanna go." She said and buried her face on the pillow.

"You know I can't leave you here alone lalo na't wala sina mama dito."

"Marco, kaya ko na ang sarili ko."

"Tell me that when you didn't leaved the house without our knowledge and worst, driving. Come on. Get up na, please. The party's at 8 and it's already 7:30, mahal."

(Let's have a quick throwback on why Emily changed her mind about going to the party)

She was picking her clothes to wear and was emerging from her walk in closet for the nth time for almost an hour already. You know this thing about pregnant women? When they sometimes feel ugly and wasted? Well, that's Emily's been experiencing.

She faced the mirror and looked at her reflection. She was wearing a red silky long gown that hug her body with a high slit on the both sides. She looked fabulous but given this 'pregnant women thing' she's having, she felt the other way.

Marco who had his back leaning against the headboard, his laptop on his lap, looked up to her.

"Ang pangit pangit ko." Emily blurted. "What do you think?"

Marco was taken a back when Emily suddenly asked him. He didn't want to say anything, as much as possible, especially about her because Emily can be sensitive at some times due to her pregnancy.

"Sobrang ganda mo." He said sincerely but Emily didn't need his sincerity. He watched her unzipped her dress and walked lazily inside their walk in closet.

"Believe me, you look stunning."

"You're a bias."

"I am bias."

He chuckled when Emily glared him.

"Please.." He flashed his rare puppy eyes that he only use when he need to get her approval.

Emily gave gave him a long face before she let out a loud sigh, a sign that she's finally saying, yes. He grinned and helped her to stand. He even kissed her forehead before sending her to their walk in closet.

"Do you want me to dress you?" He teased laughing when Emily shouted, 'pervert'.

After more than half an hour, they were already inside the car, on the way to the venue. Emily's mood didn't changed at all but at least she's answering his questions so the ride didn't went too boring for him. It didn't took them long to arrive because the place wasn't that far.

The moment they stepped inside the ballroom, Marco possessively wrapped an arm around Emily's waist, aware on the men eyeing his wife. The back of his mind regretted that he brought her but at the same time proudly smirking to everyone because he had the most beautiful date on the night.
