It's almost three in the morning when they packed up. They just finished their last scene at the hospital where Mrs. Susan Roses character got hospitalized. Everyone was tired and exhausted, catching some scenes that needed to be finish for it will be shown the next night. Richard and Dawn, who's sitting on the corner, watching the staffs cleaning up the place, though lacked of sleep had still managed to keep a life. Dawn's head were resting on Richard's shoulder, her arm around his waist, and his on top of her shoulder.
"Antok ka na?" Richard whispered against her temple.
She shook her head and closed her eyes.
"You wanna go somewhere?" He asked, caressing her arm, his way to keep her warm.
"I'd love too. But pauwi na lahat ng tao, oh." She said, looking at the crews around them.
"Sus. Para namang hindi tayo ninja." Richard kidded.
Dawn looked up to him with a knowing look.
"Ano? Tara na.. Mabilis lang. Nakakabagot na dito, oh. And knowing you..."
Dawn cut him off. "Anong ako? Ikaw lang naman 'tong mabilis ma-bored sa ating dalawa."
Richard chuckled, playfully kissing her hair with a bit 'gigil'.
"Sige na, Zuluets. Ipag-paalam kita sa bestfriend mo."
"You know her. Hindi yon papayag not unless kasama siya."
"Edi isama natin." Richard exclaimed. He stood up and pulled her hand, dragging her to where Vivian was.
"Vivs!"
Dawn smiled when her friend turned to face them. She caught her friends eyes staring at their intertwined hands so as if in cue, she unclasped her hand on him.
"Bakit?" Vivian asked Richard.
"Hiramin ko sana muna alaga mo. Mabilis lang habang hindi pa kayo tapos dito."
Vivian took a glance on her before answering Richard.
"Saan mo naman 'to dadalhin? Tsaka, madaling araw talaga? Saan naman kayo pupunta ng alas tres ng umaga?" She fired him with questions.
Richard scratched his nape, smiling coyly.
"Dyan lang sa malapit. Magpapahangin lang, promise. Babalik din kami agad."
Vivian looked at her. She shrugged and looked at Richard's pleading face instead.
After a moment, they heard Vivian called her assistant to get her a scarf.
"Ibalik mo ng buo, Goma ha. Makakatikim ka talaga sakin." Vivian warned him with a smile on her face.
Richard beamed from ear to ear.
"Thank you!" He pulled her right away, almost running to where his car was parked.
"Hinay-hinay naman. Nakaheels ako." She said, panting.
Richard just grinned and opened the car's door for her.
"Shall we?"
She laughed and hopped in the car.
"So saan tayo?" Richard asked when he got inside.
"Aba, ewan ko sayo. Ikaw 'tong nag-aya, eh."
"Okay lang sayo kung itanan kita?" He said and started the engine.
Dawn gave him a smug look.
"Oh bakit?" Richard faced her, smiling.
When Dawn didn't say anything, he reached for her face and pinched her nose. "Di na mabiro?" He chuckled and drove the car.
Dawn just giggled.
On the road, they kept on talking and talking like they haven't talk for so long. As if they don't have the time to talk to each other everyday on the set. Just like they used to every road trips before.
"Oy, stop it over there, Gomz." Dawn tapped his arm that were on the steering wheel.
He stopped the car on the side of the road. Dawn immediately went out of the car and sat on the side, under the lamp post.
"Ang sarap ng simoy ng hangin, Gomz."
Richard took the place beside her.
"Kung gaano kaingay sa araw, ganito katahimik sa gabi." She added, gazing all over the place. "Know what? Reminds me of our.."
"Early road trips?" Richard continued, smiling at the thought.
Dawn giggled, resting her head on his shoulder. "Aka takas sa set?"
"Oo. Kasi ikaw..." Richard faced her and cupped her face. "Napakabugnutin.." He squeezed her cheeks making her giggle. "Hindi napepermi." He kissed the tip of her nose. "At gusto palaging may ginagawa...hmmn.." Then he peppered her with kisses all over her face.
"Richard!" Dawn squealed, trying to get away from him but Richard made a tight hold on her.
"Stop it!"
Richard begun to tickle her on the side using his left hand while the other was holding both of her arms, restraining her from moving away. He launched a feather kisses on her earlobe, her ticklish spot, down to her nape.
"Richard... Please...." Dawn pleaded as she was already catching her breath.
When Richard stopped, Dawn started to punch him.
She giggled, hitting his shoulder. "Bwisit ka talaga!"
Richard was just laughing at how cute she was. She kept on punching his chest but it was all nothing for him.
"Tama na. Masakit na, ha.." He complained, stopping her. He got a hold of her hands, pulling her towards him, their faces only an inch away.
Dawn's giggles dissolved into a sweet smile. He can already feel the warmth of her breath. He can already smell her sweet fragrance. In fact, in a swift move, he can already kiss her, with their nose touched, and their eyes locked with one another.
Slowly, he closed the gap between them, and as their lips were about to sinfully touch, Dawn's phone rang, taking them back to their senses.
She moved her head backward and fished for her phone on her pocket. It was her manager, calling.
"Si Vivs." She said as if she was saying, 'we need to go back'.
Richard nodded. He smiled and stood up, taking her hand so she could stand up too.
"Lets go?"
Dawn smiled. He opened the cars door for her and hopped inside after her. One glance at her and he started the engine, driving back to the set, facing the reality.**
