"Good afternoon, Sir." Kenneth greeted Marco who just came home from work.
Marco smiled to the lad before giving the paper bag he was holding.
"Cheese cake, habilin ni Mam Emily mo." He answered when Kenneth asked him about the paper bag.
"Ang aga niyo po ata ngayon."
"Tinapos ko talaga ng maaga so I can come home early. Alam mo naman..." He smiled and rubbed his nape. "Palagi kong namimiss ang-" his words suddenly disappeared when his eyes caught his wife who was heading towards the kitchen.
"Hala, si sir, natutulala pa rin kay mam." Kenneth teasingly laughed.
He just gave him an obvious look and tapped his shoulder before following his wife.
He wanted to surprise her so he made sure not to make any sound while walking in. He found her busy with the stove with her back facing him. She was obviously cooking for dinner.
He smiled and walked in tip toe stopping just behind her. He waited a couple of seconds before he lifted his arms but before he could even wrapped his arms around her, Emily muttered, "You're early."
"Surprise killer." He murmured wrapping his arms around her waist. Emily giggled when he kissed the side of her neck.
"Maaga ka ngayon." She pointed out reaching for the ceramic container on the counter top.
Marco just watched her transferred the pork adobo to the clean container. "I miss you." He said disregarding her statement, resting his chin on her shoulder, his arms around her tightened.
"How's work?" Emily asked turning a bit so she could see his face but Marco took that chance to kiss her. He groaned when she immediately pulled away, a soft laugh escaped from her mouth. She then unclasped his hands around her and faced him.
"Yong bilin ko?" She asked just as his hands found it's way back around her. She arched her brow when he gave her a coy smile. "Asan na?"
"Kiss muna."
"Marco.."
"Hmmn? Gusto mong halikan kita?" He chuckled when Emily shoved his face away. "Na kay Kenneth na po, mahal." He smiled when her expression changed.
"Ikaw!" She giggled wrapping her arms around his neck. "Napakahilig mambitin." She beamed and smacked his lips.
"Ikaw din."
"Anong ako?" Emily curiously asked.
"Palagi mo akong binibitin." He laughed when she rolled her eyes.
"Bitaw na nga. Ihahanda ko pa yong mga pagkain."
"Ayaw."
"Marco.."
He shook his head and pouted his lips.
"Ano? Don't give me that look na para bang nalugi ka sa negosyo."
Emily laughed when Marco disappointedly let go of her. He turned around and started to walk out of the kitchen but he stopped mid way, facing her with a stubborn look.
"Hindi mo man lang ba ako susundan? Hindi mo ko pipigilan?"
"Bakit ko naman gagawin yon?" Emily mockingly asked. She even raised her brow. She's absolutely teasing him.
"I can't believe this." Like a kid, Marco marched out of the room, almost stomping his feet.
Emily laughed at her husbands childish act. She shook her head and resumed on what she's doing.
