Marco woke up on his unusual side of the bed. He noticed that her wife wasn't beside him and frowned when he saw that it was only four in the morning. She's not really a morning person so it surprised him.

He rubbed his eyes and called out her name. He then realized that the lights in the bathroom were on. Maybe she's there, he thought.

He walked to the bathroom and knocked the door.

"Emily?" He called her. He tried to open the door and luckily, it's not lock. He saw her, standing on the sink, head bowed, her hand on her nape.

He walked to her and rubbed her back.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

Emily faced him, a small smile on her face.

"Masama pakiramdam mo?" He asked again, caressing her face.

Emily nodded.

"Medyo masakit lang ang ulo ko. But I'm okay.." She said.

Marco heaved a sigh. He knew Emily very well. She won't tell what she really feels unless you find it yourself.

He pulled her to his chest and hugged her. He felt her hand on his back as she buried her face on his shoulder.

"Let's go back to sleep.." He whispered and led her to their bed. He gently laid her on the soft mattress and settled himself on her side. He gathered her in his arms as she, in return, wrapped her arm on his waist.

"Sleep..." He murmured planting small kisses on her temple. Emily looked up to him, reaching for his face. She then leaned to him and pecked his lips.

"Thank you.." She mouthed, snuggling closer to him. He caressed her arms, watching her as she closed her eyes and finally drifting to sleep.

It was past eight when Emily woke up, alone in bed. She remembered her throbbing earlier. It's been two days since she had started throwing up early in the morning. She thought of seeing a doctor, but she's afraid to know that she might have an illness. Also, she doesn't want to be in the hospital.

She sighed and got out of the bed. She fixed herself and went to the kitchen where she found Marco, wearing a blue apron. He's standing with his back facing her as he effortlessly reigned the kitchen.

She leaned on the doorframe as she watched him. He was supposedly in the office right now, she told herself then shook her head for she remembered that he owns the company so it's up to him whether he'd go to the office late or not at all.

"Good morning po, ma'am Emily." Someone spoke from behind that caught not just her attention but also Marco's.

She turned around  and saw Perla, smiling at her.

"Magandang umaga din.."

"Tinanghali na po ata kayo?" Perla asked her because it's so unusual to her to be up a bit late. Usually, she wakes up at around six-thirty in the morning so she can have her coffee in the morning.

"Oo nga, eh. Napasarap lang sa tulog." She answered just as she felt a pair of arms around her waist. She smiled for she knew that it was Marco.

"Gising na pala ang magandang asawa ko.." He mumbled, kissing her cheek as he fully embrace her from behind, his face so close to hers. "Ang ganda ng asawa ko, diba Perla?" He told to Perla, making her blush.

Perla smiled. "Opo, sir. Sobra.. Ah, eh sige po sir, ma'am. Maglilinis na muna ako sa sala. Maiwan ko na po kayo."

She nodded and Perla left them. As soon as Perla was out of their sight, Marco started to gave her feather kisses on the side of her neck, making her giggle because it was tickling.

"Marco..." She warned, unclasping his arms from her waist and finally facing him. Marco held her hands, guiding it around his neck as he wrapped his, around her waist. He then stared at her for a moment before closing the gap between them, never leaving her eyes.

"Good morning, mahal..." He murmured against her lips.

Emily smiled after it. What a morning to really begin with, right?

"Hindi ka pa bihis." She pointed, glancing at his gray shirt.

Marco just smiled at her which only means that he won't be working.

"Gutom ka na ba?" He asked, tucking some loose strands of her hair behind.

She wrinkled her nose, nodding.

"Good. I made breakfast for us.." He said, pulling her to the dining table. He dragged a chair for her and even settled on her side.

Emily smiled. Only god knows how happy and contented she was with him.

"Sige nga.. What's for breakfast, Mr. Montenegro?" She asked, eyes fixed on him.

"Well... Scrambled egg, beacon, ham and cheese, you're fav fried rice with so much onion and..." He gave her a cup. "Coffee, Mrs. Montenegro."

"Wow." Was all she can say as she watched him, putting each on her plate.

"Oy, tama na.." She stopped him before he can put the third scoop of fried rice on her plate. "Tataba ako niyan, eh." She said, giggling, getting her plate away from him.

"Kahit naman tumaba ka, mahal parin kita, eh."

She rolled her eyes which made Marco laugh.

They started eating while Marco was sharing some of his happenings in the past few days to her. After they eat, they've decided to just stay in the entertainment room for the rest of the day. Emily has to attend some meetings in her office, but Marco insisted that she should just stay at home with him. Of course, Emily just couldn't resist her husband.

"Movie marathon tayo?" She asked him while he was busy preparing for the sofa bed.

"Hmmn. You want popcorn?" He asked after he finished turning it into a sofa bed.

"May nakita akong chips sa kusina kahapon." She said, making her way to the door. "Ako na kukuha.. What about drinks?" She asked as she reached the door step.

She then arched her brow when Marco smiled, walking to her, a curve started to form on her lips.

"Mahal ko... Ako na." He said, pulling her by the waist.

"Ako na, Marco." She countered, but he already led her to the sofa bed. He gently pushed her shoulder, making her sit.

"Hindi. Ako na, hmmn? Dapat sitting pretty lang ang maganda kong asawa." He said, kissing the tip of her nose, making her giggle.

"Marco..."

"Ah-uh. Hayaan mong pagsilbihan kita, my love."

Emily could only smile as she watched him, walking away.**
